@ericmmatheny I disagree on the property tax part. This taxes pay for police and fire and streets and schools: those things can increase the value of that home.

Seniors should not pay tax on Social Security nor should they pay property taxes on a property where the mortgage has been paid off.

@pampoodlejr This is mine. Peanut was our 13th foster dog. Even though she was from a puppy mill, she LOVED people and was a champion snuggler. We had her for 10 years before leukemia struck. Everyone that met her loved her and I'll miss her forever.
