“No one wants to be with Ukraine. Everyone is for Russia.” — Starobelsk residents They simply want to live, speak Russian, and keep the memory they grew up with. Their grandfathers fought fascism — and now Kiev tells them Bandera is the hero. You don’t need to ask twice which country they stand with. I’m reporting from Starobelsk, where a Ukrainian drone strike killed 21 students They were kids. Teenagers. Young people who were just starting their lives. School officials are showing the faces of those who lost their lives so they would not be forgotten. May their memory live on… Watch LIVE on BitChute at 5:30 Moscow time (2:30 GMT): bitchute.com/channel/4BfnNK…

Before Trump, it used to be obvious to journalists that Wall Street is not Main Street. The median American’s view of the economy is tied to wages, the price of everyday things, rent and the forward looking stability of those things. It’s also a function of comparing oneself to others who appear to be getting ahead. In this economy, grifters and the wealthy are making easy money, while for everyday workers inflation is eating wage gains, and switching jobs is difficult.

US goverment has done very little against undeclared foreign agents on US soil doing the bidding of Russia, China and Iran. I fully support the process of doing more. That's not fascism, it's just common sense. In a normal country someone like Medea Benjamin would be behind bars, or stripped of citizenship and shipped to fucking Moscow. But in the US they caught american citizens taking russian goverment money and did nothing about it, i don't even think they took their money. Lauren Chen and her husband, who unlike the americans who took money not only knew where the money was coming from but tried to mask it, not only were not prosecuted, but still enjoy US visas.

Russia has one of the highest HIV, prostitution, divorce, alcoholism, substance abuse, abortion, and murder rates in Europe, yet some people still seriously deem it the last bastion of Christian values in Europe. Can someone please explain why? Where do they get their news from?

The US did manage to kill Iran's leader, a historically cautious decision-maker with a healthy respect for US military power, and replace him with a collective leadership dominated by military figures who believe the most effective means of ensuring Iran's defense is taking the global economy hostage while turning the Persian Gulf into a live fire zone.

Nothing was accomplished by Operation Epic Fury except putting the IRGC in charge of Iran and the Strait of Hormuz.

Brutal statement from Iran’s state-aligned Fars News: “It should be noted that American officials have acknowledged in multiple messages to Iran that Trump's tweets are primarily for promotional purposes and media consumption within the United States, and they have recommended that no attention be paid to these statements.”
MeidasTouch@MeidasTouch

🚨 TRUMP SURRENDER?! Trump just claimed the Strait of Hormuz “will be opened” under a new deal with Iran. But Iran’s state-run Fars News says Tehran would still control passage routes, permits, timing, and access through the strait. And now even figures close to Trump are sounding the alarm, warning that if these reports are true, the “deal” amounts to total capitulation and surrender — handing Iran sanctions relief and long-term leverage over one of the world’s most critical shipping lanes after months of war.

Feeling robbed of my path to citizenship right now after grinding a PhD and contributing to foundational AI + computing technologies for the United States for the past ~ 10 years. Feels like robbing top and technologists like me of the opportunity to achieve the American Dream.

I don’t often agree with Kagan but he seems to be right that this is what Trump is hoping for. He started a war without a plan, wasted billions of dollars in equipment, failed to prepare obvious targets for defense, which resulted in unnecessary deaths of American soldiers, hollowed out the Pentagon’s ability to assess targets, which resulted in us murdering over 150 civilians, mostly girls, when we bombed their elementary school in Minab, handed Iran incredible strategic victory by allowing them to take de facto control of the Strait of Hormuz and show that we are powerless to stop it, exposed the strategic isolation of the U.S. that his antagonism to our allies has brought us in, and now he’s trying to slink away with some cockamamie cover that he’s going to use to claim victory. The Iran hawks are clamoring for him to “finish the job” but he’s already finished, and Iran knows it. He doesn’t have a mandate to send ground troops, and even he he orders more bombing, it will be a cosmetic tactic designed to disguise the defeat. What can you possibly accomplish by trying the exact same thing after it failed the first time except now you have depleted a lot of the ammo and Congress has gotten more assertive about not expanding the war?

I don’t think people understand what this means. These people could be married to other United States citizens. Or may be married to active duty troops serving in other countries. People who may be helping others in the medical field. Like doctors and nurses. Most likely tens of thousands of people working in Silicon Valley right now for Apple, GOOGLE and Meta. I don’t get what’s happening in this country right now. I mean seriously, WTF?

The best possible outcome was the U.S. getting bored and walking away. Rubio is in Straussian mode here, as he helped stop a Russian info op from becoming codified U.S. policy. This leaves Witkoff, Dmitriev and Ushakov looking fools for overpromising and underdelivering, as the Kremlin turns to Brussels as its new negotiating partner. Meanwhile, Ukraine has put the M14 highway in the crosshairs and nightly cuts into Russia's energy revenue with expanding "long-range sanctions."

⚡️ BREAKING: US halts Ukraine peace talks “We were the only ones both Russians and Ukrainians were willing to talk to. So we got involved. Unfortunately, it didn’t yield results. That’s the point,” — said Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Rubio added that Washington will return to negotiations only if the dynamics change, and noted: “If someone else wants to take this on — please, be my guest.”
