@ChiefCub Basically the cubs pitchers give up way too many home runs and they can’t get the brewers out .. once they get 2 outs it’s like we forget there’s a 3rd one. And the cubs hitters have sucked this whole series sub one game. Every other game has literally been one home run ..

@Wells15Kevin They should sit PCB and Ian happ next game. Put alcantera and ballesteros in the game. See if we can find some guys that actually want to hit the baseball. We have some good young guys who can hit. It makes no sense to keep throwing pca out there so he can strike out ..

The Cubs needed another starting pitcher. You knew it, they knew it, we all knew it. I did not see this Shota implosion coming, but it’s potentially a dire mistake in the Cubs’ deadline approach.

@ryanruzz5 @Wells15Kevin The cubs need guys who are scrappy. Ones that hit for good average. Swanson strikes out constantly. Happ is terrible. I’ll give Shaw a break since he’s a rookie … but all that we still have 3 runs. Our pitchers can hold anyone to less than 10 a game.

@Coldgravy5 @Wells15Kevin Agreed. It’s sad. The Cubs spent pretty much the entire year without their pitching staff ever all healthy. Steele going down was bad, but Horton right before the playoffs was just brutal. Imanaga went from a good pitcher to one who just sucks. It’s wild… but no way they win..

@anthonymorrison @Wells15Kevin Without Horton and Steele as starting pitchers, the Cubs are just too thin on pitching. Overusing Palencia, etc. It's a patchwork that isn't strong enough, especially with their bats mediocre. Our goose is cooked.
