@cperruna On the other side, even remotely, if you are not engaging with your boss or coworkers, that's on you.

@cperruna It's also easier for lazy bosses to equate facetime with productivity. Such an antiquated way of thinking, but I know it'll stick around for some. I don't miss corporate life.

People will get serious about working again if unemployment starts rising, in a recession. And many will rush back to offices to be in front of their bosses so they don't get clipped. It's always easier to fire someone you don't see and don't really know, personally.

I continue to re-learn how folks take a tweet so literally & fail to search a profile. The retweet was said facetiously. 🤔 As one who invests, I am quite aware that billions of meals are sold at $MCD & their real estate is worth a fortune. One of the greatest stocks.

@cperruna @FintwitPeaked Yep, it was this eureka moment entering my 40s where I completely understood why anyone older said things quickly and what they meant as efficiently as possible and didn't give a rat's ass. Easiest way to narrow down: get sick or go through hard times, and then see who cares.

@anthonystorres @FintwitPeaked Totally agree Anthony. And not really giving a shit about anyone's opinion after 40, just telling it how it is. One realizes how short life is and how quickly it's going. Quality becomes top priority.

@cperruna @FintwitPeaked It really does. I feel like it was making as many friends as possible in my 20s, focusing on family in 30s, narrowing down who are really friends in 40s so far. More to it but generally like that. Can't get time back.

@FintwitPeaked A child. I have a much younger brother that's 27 and a sister that's 20, nuts. The 30s are great years, especially if getting married, your 1st home, possibly a family. Enjoy it because it goes by fast!

I love our @googlefi service, but this whole 2 different prices from Google is BS, especially as they sent the @GoogleStore $50 out as an early bird Black Friday deal, and then subtly offered the Fi Black Friday deal at a greater discount without sending out notice.

I wonder how many people in Fi don't realize that the ads in email that send you to the store apparently are being sent to a separate entity, even if checkout/trade-in process is the same. You even select "Fi phone" at the start. Looking for 5a 5g as a Fi customer? Head to FI!

@GoogleStore and @googlefi need to get their crap together. As a Fi customer, they hit me with Store promos. I only find Fi ones when signing in. Store: promo for Pixel 5a 5G = $50 off. You select it's a Fi phone in the process. Fi - then promos the same phone for $100 off. (1/?)
