Vivek Agarwal is the first Indian to have been elected Vice President of FATF,what @narendramodi government must do is to bring back Pakistan in Grey List. USA list of TRF is of no real use,UN listing is needed of TRF,Modi government should have & must have tried to list ISI also ,we must remember the Red Fort suicide blast of November 2025.

The Danger of Reporting Terrorist Propaganda as Fact On June 18, 2026, the Taliban claimed to have struck Islamic State-Khorasan Province (ISKP) targets in Pakistan. Within hours, several major media outlets, including Reuters, amplified the claim. The problem is that the evidence from the ground does not support the Taliban's narrative. The strike in Gulistan, Balochistan, did not hit an ISKP training center. It struck commercial shipping containers belonging to prominent Achakzai businessman and tribal elder Haji Faizullah Khan Ghabizi, killing two innocent people and causing significant damage to supplies stored for his business. There is zero evidence connecting the location in Gulistan to ISKP. Ghabizi is an elder whom the Taliban have harassed and targeted since regaining control of Afghanistan in 2021. Labeling opponents as "ISIS" has become a convenient mechanism for justifying actions that have little to do with counterterrorism. The assumption appears to be that once the Taliban apply the "ISIS" label, few will question it. Likewise, Taliban claims of a successful strike against an ISKP center in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) remain unsupported. Several Taliban members joked internally that the press was believing this fake ISIS operation, and in Islamic State channels, it was noted that the only personnel operating in the general area of the supposed strike at the time were members of Islamic State Pakistan Province (ISPP). According to those insiders, none of their locations or facilities in Pakistan were targeted or hit. For general awareness, ISPP members operate covertly in the KP region and do not maintain the kind of fixed infrastructure described in Taliban statements. The Taliban's narrative of destroying an ISKP center in KP appears to be entirely fabricated. This matters because information operations are part of modern warfare. Presenting themselves as a responsible counterterrorism force serves multiple purposes. It bolsters the Taliban's legitimacy abroad, reinforces their domestic image, and distracts from persistent questions about their direct sponsorship of dozens of terrorist organizations operating inside Afghanistan. This is not a group with a strong record of credibility. The Taliban concealed the death of Mullah Omar for years while continuing to issue statements in his name. They have repeatedly manipulated information to serve political, military, and internal interests. Yet once again, unsupported claims were transformed into headlines before independent verification took place. That matters because the U.S. has provided billions of dollars in assistance to Afghanistan since 2021 while accepting Taliban claims of counterterrorism success against ISIS at face value. Our government is financing and legitimizing fake ISIS operations carried out against innocent Afghans, including extrajudicial killings, while the Western press amplifies these fabricated operations as fact. This cycle of funding, propaganda, and misinformation must stop. Counterterrorism reporting cannot rely on terrorist organizations to grade their own homework. Claims should be independently verified, especially when they come from organizations with a documented history of deception. A claim by the Taliban is not evidence. Repeating propaganda does not make it headline news. It makes it disinformation. Journalists, analysts, and governments should demand evidence before amplifying Taliban narratives. Otherwise, they risk becoming participants in and enablers of an information operation rather than observers of one. There is a nice term for this, it's called useful idiots. Do better. These are terrorists. Stop parroting their lies as fact.

Calling for "all of Lebanon to burn" is a horrendous and abhorrent statement from an Israeli Minister who has rightly been sanctioned by the UK Government. We call on both Israel and Hizballah to comply with the agreed ceasefire, and ensure that all civilians are protected.

Today, U.S. forces lifted the blockade on all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas, in accordance with the President's direction. American forces are not impeding the transit of vessels to or from Iranian ports. All U.S. military blockade enforcement efforts have ceased. Our great Naval Ships will remain in the general area to make sure that all aspects of the agreement are adhered to, obeyed and in full force and effect.

#Switzerland welcomes the signing of the MoU between the #UnitedStates & #Iran yesterday by both countries. The signing is an important step toward de-escalation in the region. Currently, the plan remains for the US & Iran, along with the mediators #Pakistan & #Qatar, to meet tomorrow at the Bürgenstock for initial negotiations on the implementation of the agreement. ℹ️bit.ly/4ePOxzB

You know why, as a Pakistani, I don't want Bangladesh to get the JF-17? Because it's hard to understand your stance. India has repeatedly stabbed you in the back, yet you always end up sitting in its lap. Your Prime Minister never seems to tire of praising India++++

People need to STOP being defensive about the rape gang enquiry. This is what they want. Child grooming, exploitation and paedophilia are some of the worst crimes a human can commit. I do not care if data is bad for the Pakistani community or if Muslims are over-represented in a certain area or type of crime. I am a Muslim and I care ONLY that it never happens again. 500,000 children are estimated to be sexually abused every year in England and Wales. Police recorded ~123,000 child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) offences in 2024 (the latest full-year figure available) — most by family members, people the child knows, or committed by other children. Look at how many are NOT recorded. The grooming gangs are another horrific pattern in this massive national crisis that must be dealt with. Pakistanis or Muslims trying to downplay something that has become a huge story does not help anyone. If the data is wrong then share proof and dispute it with numbers. But the most important thing is to call for accountability instead. They want to track ethnicity or religion for crimes? DO IT. They want to deport the criminals? Do it. Although I personally believe that is weak: reinstate the death penalty and hand it to every disgusting child rapist. They want to deport family members or individuals who covered up the crimes? Fine, although I believe they too should be prosecuted. It is not enough for the enquiry to document testimonies and extrapolate (estimate) data. We need systemic change, transparent data collection, and prevention. I do not care what colour, religion, or ethnicity a person is. If they rape or groom children they deserve the harshest punishment possible. Stop the defensiveness. Stop trying to say the police, state or anyone else is more to blame. Or that others (Whites/Blacks/Europeans/'far right') commit more crimes. It is not a sick competition. The criminals are to blame first and foremost. And by the way: WE ARE ALL TO BLAME when children are being raped in our societies.
