Of all the challenges I face in my job, making tea with this absolutely nightmarish tap in the staff kitchen is by far the worst. It’s contact-free so you can’t actually touch it, meaning you have to find the sweet spot where the tap is aware of your gesture. I swear this moves every time. Then, you are rewarded with a hot splash of water and then you have to try to repeat this enough times to fill the cup. But sometimes, just to keep you on your toes, it will fill the cup and NOT STOP. I hate it with a passion.
