Season ticket holder for 35 years+ 2 games were missed, fair enough, 2 black marks, you’re allowed 3 1 - brother died, missed Chelsea 1 - best friend died, missed Bournemouth Bad enough to lose the pair of season tickets from next season, but to refund and take back ALL tickets for THIS season is utterly ludicrous behaviour by the club.

If ST holders are choosing to leave seats empty and not use one of the 3 perfectly sensible options to avoid this, it’s not fair to the wider fan base. I think the clubs approach strikes a sensible balance.

Earlier this week, Brighton opened ticket sales for the FA Cup game at Old Trafford on the 11th of January, first to Season Ticket Holders and then to members today. With the kick-off time being 16:30, which causes travelling issues, whilst also remembering the price of the ticket isn’t capped at £30 like the Premier League games (remember, both clubs share gate receipts in FA Cup games) Of the 24,350 eligible fans, only 517 tickets have been sold across two blocks.
