How can you educate individuals whose view is enforced by their own religious indoctrination? It is not Islamophobic to tell people their binge eating patterns of sugars and fats during Ramadan is killing them and costing the NHS a fortune. Despite existing Diabetics being excluded, they still partake.

@CaptKennie @OliLondonTV I have worked in the NHS in B’ham & diabetes is a massive problem with Ramadan being just one contributory factor. I found education was mostly futile but the consequences of such a disease is draining the nhs. Seems the more u give these people the more they want!!

90% of the residents are diabetics, that area has a very high number of Muslims, coincidence? Absolutely not. This is largely due to Ramadan eating habits. While fasting can be healthy, many Muslims consume very large amounts of high-fat and high-sugar foods at the pre-dawn (Suhur) and sunset (Iftar) meals. These extreme shifts in eating rhythms vastly increases the risk of getting Diabetes. And then during Eid, they celebrate again with even more high sugars treats. There are 6 times more Muslim diabetics than any other UK demographic.
