Can't help but feel history is repeating itself here with new leadership trying to cater to a small online community to make them feel good at the detriment of the actual business. What's going to happen is they will revert, see it makes no difference to console sales, then revert back to their OG strategy a year or two after Helix' launch because they want to be a multiplatform publisher and they don't care where their games sell.

Xbox is the only company people expect to compete without actually competing.
PlayStation and Nintendo spend money on exclusivity deals and content advantage people act like Xbox should just sit back and play nice.
Not how competition works, and it's exactly how you kill Xbox.

We're not the same.
Competition benefits everyone. Expecting Xbox to sit on the sidelines while PlayStation, Nintendo, and Steam fight for market share isn't a strategy

@DMC_Ryan @asha_shar @klobrille This helps PS sell console casual dont take the time to look up who else sells it. They saw PS they buy PlayStation simple. Then does people buy other games on PS. Yes XBOX sold that 1 game but PS sold that game and whatever future purchases that consumer buys in the future.

@asha_shar @klobrille Is doing what Sony does really any more helpful to gamers, though? Meaning, pretend a game doesn't exist on other platforms on your Showcase when in fact it does. Who does that help?
Exclusives are another matter, but if it's multiplatform, why try to convince anyone otherwise?

I don't think Xbox needs to remove logos. Everyone is just going to rush online and use it as an "own" now. If it's on PlayStation, it's on PlayStation. Why remove the logo if it's going there anyway?
The real solution players are asking for is to make them exclusive again.

@DestinLegarie Casual gamers don’t do homework after a trailer; they just remember the logo at the end. Sony hides rival logos to lock in that visual association. XBOX putting competitor logos on their own stage is literally doing the marketing department's job for PS. @asha_shar

@lastchalice Not quite. It was $19.99 with CoD. Then it went to $29.99 with CoD PLUS Ubisoft+ Classics, Fortnite Crew, and upgraded cloud streaming. Now it's $22.99 without Day 1 CoD, but we kept everything else they added. Definitely not a simple calculation.

XBOX has always been the sheep in the industry. I say play the role. All single player games only on XBOX and PC. Multiplayer games on other platforms no time Exclusive WE all in. You have more games more studios. All you need is quality games and gamers will come @asha_shar

They utilize the money gain to buy more 3rd party deals to keep out of XBOX. All single players games should be console exclusive. PC ia a big enough platform to make difference.

Any PlayStation game purchased digitally after March's sytem update will reportedly now require an internet connection once every 30 days to validate the license 🎮 If the console stays offline longer than that, the games will not launch until you reconnect (via @MrZackXOfficial)
