@partindemseas @MBGoBucksNatty @SimonSaysPlop @CooperCuffe @RedditCFB All the stats you have provided don’t account for the fact A&M has played a top 15 schedule and Indiana has played a much worse top 40-50 schedule.
English

@MBGoBucksNatty @ap736363 @SimonSaysPlop @CooperCuffe @RedditCFB Leads Texas A&M was the point I was making with all those stats, but yes
English

@ap736363 @SimonSaysPlop @CooperCuffe @RedditCFB So context does matter beyond just SOR rankings… I thought the rest of the data and statistics and tape were just opinions and SOR was the “cold hard facts”, right?
English

@partindemseas @SimonSaysPlop @CooperCuffe @RedditCFB You should have. The only good teams you played last year you got ran out of the building.
English

@ap736363 @SimonSaysPlop @CooperCuffe @RedditCFB … and the committees opinion. You idiots were the same people saying IU should miss the playoffs with the 8th best SOR last year 🤣 Now you’re shilling for it cause it’s the only thing supporting your narrative lmfao
English

@partindemseas @SimonSaysPlop @CooperCuffe @RedditCFB That’s your opinion. Now here’s what the facts say:

English

@ap736363 @SimonSaysPlop @CooperCuffe @RedditCFB “SEC schedule” with Miss St and 4 teams who’ve fired their coaches 🤣. IU has the best win and 2 more wins better than your second best win. I think A&M has a great resume but overall collection of metrics + eye test favors OSU and IU
English

@ap736363 @NickRodecap Show us the exact metric. Hint: it's none of the ones Joey is looking at.
English

Joey Galloway insisting that Texas A&M is better than Ohio State and Indiana based on analytics is hilarious. ESPN's own model has A&M at No. 9, while Ohio State and Indiana are No. 1 and No. 2 respectively. #iufb

English

@ap736363 @Ga_Hoosier @indiana_edits Ur 2 best wins are against 2 loss notre dame who hasn’t impressed anyone at all and a LSU team who just fired their head coach
English

“They have the best win of the season. On the road in south bend”
ESPN not even trying to hide it, man.
Oh well, it’s all rat poison anyway. #iufb
English

@SingerHayd50037 @Ga_Hoosier @indiana_edits If that’s the case Indiana and Ohio state have been playing Pop Warner opponents 😂
English

@partindemseas @SimonSaysPlop @CooperCuffe @RedditCFB If Indiana played an SEC schedule + Notre Dame on the road, their numbers wouldn’t be nearly as good. That’s why SOS and SOR matter, and A&M clears Indiana in both metrics.
English

@ap736363 @SimonSaysPlop @CooperCuffe @RedditCFB Indiana leads in total defense, scoring defense, total offense, scoring offense, third down offense, power ratings, margin of victory, best win, ranked wins, and on and on
English

@Ga_Hoosier @indiana_edits Number 19 USC? Your best win survived against Penn state in OT
English

@SimonSaysPlop @CooperCuffe @RedditCFB Incorrect. A&M leads Ohio State and Indiana in SOS and SOR, and is the number 1 3rd down defense in the country.
English

@CooperCuffe @RedditCFB No, he said, "every analytic out there has A&M #1".
When it's literally the opposite, only 1 metric has A&M #1
English

@RedditCFB The Massey Ratings are a conglomerate of a ton of various polls. The committee has only said they will use SOS and SOR, and A&M is higher than Ohio State and Indiana in both.
English

@ap736363 @WhitMerrifield @redturn2 Says not one major league player, or anybody who's played hugh level competitive ball.
English

@DALLASBRADEN209 @tjsantos50 The fact you are equating basic strategy of a child’s game to a phd is hilarious. You don’t have to have played pro baseball to understand the strategy of the game better than players. It doesn’t mean I can execute it as well. Theres a difference.
English

No it hasn’t. The CORE message has been “HOW CAN YOU LISTEN TO THE PLAYER HIMSELF EXPLAIN THE STRATEGY, HEAR HIM TELL YOU THAT IS WHAT HE WAS TOLD TO DO, HEAR OTHER PLAYERS EXPLAIN THE “WHY’s” & STILL BEHAVE AS IF EVERY SINGLE EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL is just an absolute buffoon.
That’s where the example of walking in on a professor’s lecture came from. IKF explained himself & the strategy behind the play & then people who do not have the same experience or knowledge that IKF & his coaching staff do dismissed it & just kept going in on IKF.
English

GREAT insight from a current player. Be prepared though- he makes sense & he highlights his experience & what he’s been taught. that sometimes doesn’t matter when Steve in Sales lost his parlay & was also a great pinch runner on his high school team & coached travel ball for 2 years.
Justin Turner@redturn2
Gonna chime in on this base running with IKF. To several former players point, the philosophy with the “bases loaded” is don’t get doubled off on a line drive vs runners at “second and third” or “third” with infield in where it’s a contact play, good lead, aggressive secondary,
English

@Thesorrynotsor1 @WhitMerrifield @redturn2 The slip is a red herring. IKF did not maximize his chance to score. Regardless of the result of the play IKF did not play it correctly.
English

@ap736363 @WhitMerrifield @redturn2 Because Rojas slipped?
You can’t think or coach about a scenario like that.
Clean hit he walks in, clean field he’s out by 15 feet and with a big lead he’s out by 10.
With a big lead, you bring risk into play.
For what?
A possible bobble or slip?
No
English

@MLB_Rainmaker @JSD12120831 @ButchBaseball29 Joseph is right. Merrifield and Turner are flat out wrong. It’s sad how some of these modern players have the lowest baseball IQ I’ve ever seen.
English

@JSD12120831 @ButchBaseball29 Bud, you just said "anyone who played the game at a higher level"....except those two All-starts...we should ignore them...
Lol, you're a clown...
English

@DALLASBRADEN209 @RB4444 The defense has a million holes poked through it. If IKF takes a couple more steps towards home it barely nudges his odds of getting picked or doubled off. No one is saying to get this humongous lead. Just a standard secondary lead which he failed to do.
English

@RB4444 Well it has been defended. By MULTIPLE people with far more experience & expertise on the subject matter & the nuance of the scenario. And no need to apologize.
English

Between the lodged ball & the outlandish criticism of IKF’s lead at 3rd base I am reminded of just how silly it is to try & explain high level strategy & the purpose behind it to people who are essentially stepping into a PHD level course & telling the professor they’re wrong because “insert opinion with no experience or education to support shitty opinion”. I’ve watched current & retired players try to explain the rules & strategy of the games they play/ed & be told their wrong by “Steve in sales” who pitched & played SS on his men’s league team.
English

@KSckamm @TyDaneGonzalez He’s not in the conversation with anyone that knows ball. I really don’t care about the award though. Just saying he doesn’t deserve it and he doesn’t.
English

The AL MVP race is wild. I still think it will be Judge because the counting stat output is similar enough to Cal with a significantly better slash line, but on the other hand you have a guy breaking records and passing guys like Mickey Mantle and Johnny Bench while also playing the most physically demanding position in the sport. How the gravity and spectacle of Cal's season weighs against the overall numbers of Judge in the voting process, especially with the obvious East Coast element of the whole thing, is gonna be fascinating to see play out.
English

@CC20rake That’s rich coming from you Chris.
Suspended for 80 games after being caught taking PEDS in 2016, then you could never reach that level again because you weren’t cheating.
English

Really looking forward to showing up to all the game 7's you play in next year and telling you how to do your job...
Eric Brauer@coachebrauer28
@CC20rake You’re dead wrong. Assume the mistake. Play hard. Do it right. It cost them the game. If he scores they win.
