🇪🇺 THE BIGGEST CRYPTO EXCHANGE ON EARTH JUST GOT LOCKED OUT OF EUROPE Binance failed to secure a MiCA license. From July 1, it's locked out of all 27 EU countries. The Greek bid collapsed. France is years away. The world's largest exchange, gone from Europe overnight. MiCA has teeth. And it just bit the giant.

FT: Binance to Stop Serving EU Clients Next Week After Failing to Obtain MiCA Licence According to FT, Binance has notified EU clients that it will stop providing services to them from next week after failing to obtain a MiCA licence. From July 1, crypto companies operating in the EU must hold a MiCA licence or risk penalties. Binance’s application for a bloc-wide licence in Greece was rejected last week, and it now plans to apply through France. Customers in Poland, Italy, Spain and France have received withdrawal instructions. Binance said some users may be affected before July 1, but it is not asking users to withdraw funds by then, adding that user assets remain safe and secure.
