@BoredClint @OGDfarmer @guyoseary Totally understand where you're coming from. We originally had in the proposal that the DAO would participate in profit sharing as an equal partner but it got really complicated from a legal standpoint. If we figured out a way to do that would that ease some of your concerns?

Voted YES to the @guyoseary AIP, absolute no brainer, and definite NO to AIP 29. Seen how I got absolutely trashed the last time no thread and back to vacation for me, but many where asking so here’s the short form.

@NFTBeliever Yeah if you don't think generally these types of projects should be attached to DAO funds then that makes sense. Appreciate the honest but respectful feedback!

@ape_drops I think that would probably be a much better selling point but for me personally it isn't about the DAO getting a return. It is just about the precedent of the DAO trying to fund a bunch of projects and taking on the risk that they don't work out.

I appreciate what @ape_drops is trying to do but I think it sets a bad precedent and we will see tons of companies try to cash in on the back of ape coin funding. They said they made $1 million in sales. Use those funds to continue to grow and as funds grow get bigger artists.

Voted 'Yes' for AIP-36 and 'No' for AIP-29. Reason being: - AIP-36 proposal plans to increase the adoption of $APE, which will be beneficial to the DAO and $APE - AIP-29 proposal has no direct or indirect benefit to DAO or $APE that I can think of right now

We're proud to be the first AIP going to vote that's a business trying to build in the $APE ecosystem. Please vote yes to AIP-29 when it goes live!

If approved, we would only receive funds if we achieve concrete milestones. Our goal is to use this grant to build up a team of 6-8 people so we can regularly launch NFT projects powered by $APE. Until we get commitments from new hires, no funds are given to us.

We wrote this AIP because we'd like to scale up our operations and marketing team. We're currently a few people working part time but believe this is a platform that will add utility to $APE as well as bring new communities into the $APE ecosystem.

Our tech stack is built by @manifoldxyz. They're committed to maintaining and improving it over time but it is already in a pretty mature state. We can launch new projects on our site in less than a day.

Here's a running list of artists we've collaborated with so far: @SnoopDogg, @champmedici, @wizkhalifa, @MythDivision, @strangeloop_s, @idreamerNFT, @realApePins. We also auctioned off tickets to Ape Fest courtesy of @yugalabs.

We were the first $APE NFT marketplace, having launched 2 days after @apecoin went live. We're a curated marketplace (think @niftygateway for $APE) that's launched 7 drops to date with a mix of up and coming artists and established artists.
