Last year, I applied for @Google Summer of Code as a contributor... and I got rejected. At that moment, it was disappointing. But I decided one thing I will keep building. I continued working on blockchain, Web3, Al tools, backend systems, and open-source projects, participating in hackathons and collaborating with developer communities. And life is sometimes unpredictable Always believe in God plan! This year, I'm happy to share that I has been added as A mentor under in @owasp in @Google Summer of Code The PR includes a mentor card with my role Blockchain Developer | Web3 Engineer | Al Builder, highlighting my experience in Web3 development, Al tools, backend systems, and open-source collaboration, following the same Ul structure used for other mentors. From being rejected as a contributor last year to becoming a mentor this year this journey reminds me that hard work always finds its way. Last year at the @BNBCHAIN Hackathon in Delhi at IIT Delhi conducted by @fluxor_ , @BNBCHAIN, I had the idea to build a decentralized product investment platform. It was my first hackathon, and honestly, I didn’t know how to deploy smart contracts or even properly build on-chain. I had the vision, but not the technical depth yet. I failed to complete and submit the project the way I wanted. That failure stayed with me. Instead of quitting, I decided to learn. I spent months participating in more hackathons, building projects, understanding BNB Chain, smart contracts, wallet integration, and on-chain deployment. Slowly, things started making sense. Every failure became a lesson. Now, one year later, I’ve finally built it. DEFAIANCE is now live. It’s a fully on-chain AI-powered product listing and investment marketplace built on BNB Chain. Anyone can connect their wallet, submit their product, auto-scrape details using AI, and list it on-chain. Investors from anywhere in the world can discover products and invest directly using BNB. The entire process is transparent, decentralized, and secured by smart contracts. This time, I didn’t just design it — I deployed the contracts, integrated the chain, connected the database, built the UI, and launched it live. What once was a failed hackathon idea is now a real, working Web3 product. Yesterday, I completed the full deployment. Today, it’s live. And now, I’m submitting it for the BNB Chain grant. This journey taught me that failure isn’t the end — it’s the beginning. From not knowing how to deploy a contract… to launching a full on-chain investment marketplace. We didn’t give up. We built it. Now it’s live.
