Our fans are the ones who will cause the downfall of someone like Yan Diomande. The expectations, and the pressure they will apply because they are desperate to replace what Mohamed Salah done. No one will do that, that’s why Alexander Isak was signed, that’s why Florian Wirtz was signed, that’s why Hugo Ekitike was signed because not one sole person will do what Mo did. I really do think an experienced player needs to come in and just be a buffer for the development moments, otherwise the horrid people in this fanbase will destroy an extremely talented player, just like we have seen at other clubs.
