I am so excited announce that @BesteverAI has been acquired by @samba_tv!
Samba@sambaintel

We acquired @besteverai, the AI platform built for advertisers. Samba welcomes the Bestever AI team, including founder and CEO @appyg99, who joins as Director of Product leading our AI strategy. Every adtech company is racing to hand campaign management to AI agents. Our contrarian bet: the agents that win will be built on deep, first-party signals. Samba understands audience behavior at scale, including how 1.5 billion opted-in users watch TV and what they consume online. With this acquisition, we're turning that deterministic data into autonomous agents for brands and agencies. Samba is thrilled to have Apoorva and team building what's next with us. 🚀 hubs.ly/Q04mbhNp0

@luke_metro I can’t either. It’s good but not that great. It still sucks at holistic high level strategy. Yes, it’s good for coding but everything else is mediocre

I mean I like using Fable. It’s great but people have AI psychosis and are acting like it’s the second coming of Jesus. Jeez, grow a brain. Think of the days when you had to use yours and you could do amazing things with the power within.

Just telling people they slept poorly led to impaired cognitive function. Telling them they slept fine preserved it.

The Israeli government is lying to cover up for 4 IDF soldiers who aided violent settlers brandishing M4 guns and threatening American lives. I am calling for their arrest and prosecution. I have met with Israeli hostages and condemned the brutal, terrorist attacks of Oct 7. That does excuse the IDF from detaining American citizens.

Whenever you see one company in an industry is doing better than a competitor of similar sized, I go see which one of them has remote work. Constant communication & execution issues are more significant at fully-remote companies. This is the hill I'll die on.

Sorry to be a grumpy old man, but 6-7 is one of the worst memes ever invented. Even worse than The Game.

Hey everyone. I haven't been very responsive on here the last week. My dog, Link, who I've raised since he was a puppy over the last 13 years, passed away yesterday after being in the vet ER's ICU since last Wednesday for heart failure. I put together some of my favorite pics of him to share so you all can see the most awesome animal friend I could ask for. I'll be a bit slow probably through this week too, hope you all can understand 🙏

Oya farm had the juiciest and sweetest tomatoes today in the farmer’s market. As a bonafide tomato hater, even I couldn’t help myself and ended up buying a few baskets of this.

This guy @RoKhanna is such a stain on California. Folks in SV should take some responsibility for propping up this snake for all these years.

@venturetwins I don’t understand why founders give any power to the MSM. If you have an exclusive you want to publish, write it yourself earnestly and post it. Why care about the validation of Wired or whatever other rag

It really sucks that journalists have become so untrustworthy. I’ve seen SO many cases where they take a story and twist it to fit a pre-existing narrative (that’s almost always anti-tech). This why it’s so important to go direct on platforms like X.
dar@radbackwards

I gave WIRED the exclusive on our hands launch, and they wrote a really weird article about how we are sexualizing robotics… wired.com/story/the-1x-n… I felt pretty betrayed because that’s not what they told me they were writing about not is that what I’ve ever been about… actually I stand for quite the opposite… But I’ve come to find a lot of dishonesty and malice in the journalism community so I wasn’t surprised. This is what I sent the author… I’m only sharing this because I hope it encourages journalists to resist the click bait trap and tell truly awesome stories because I for one don’t believe journalism is dead— I think it’s just starting and just needs to evolve past the weird corner of the internet where data driven optimization turns everything into smooth brained shocking brain rot bullshit. The technological revolution we are going through should inspire a journalism renaissance. Not let it fall into further decay. There is so much brilliance at play in the world and the stories should be told! My note: “[author name redacted], it was nice talking to you, but I wanted to let you know that I didn’t enjoy your article at all. I understand the need to be inflammatory because that seems to be the only thing that gets clicks these days but that doesnt mean you shouldn’t recognize when something special is in front of you. I trusted our PR team in saying we should offer you the exclusive on what is one of the most important technological developments in the history of Mankind and I deeply regret it. Good luck with the rest of your writing career. -Dar Sleeper”

@Appyg99 I recognized this with food trends in many big cities. It's nowhere near as regional as it used to be.

I have friends who are parents in the US, Europe and India. It seems like all their children consume the same memes, they all know about the same kiddy trends. It seems like no matter where you live, you're basically raising your kid on the global internet.
