Given that Nepal gdp is around 45bn and Mumbai gdp is about 310 billion, someone with equal stature to Nepal PM would be Bandra ward ka MLA.
Maybe that’s what he’s asking for.

India has kept Nepal’s economy breathing for decades… open borders, jobs for lakhs of Nepalis, trade access via Indian ports, fuel pipelines, power projects, disaster relief, infrastructure, scholarships, even military cooperation.
And this is how Nepal Airlines responds?
A flight network map casually showing the entire Jammu & Kashmir region aligned with Pakistan.
This isn’t a “design choice.”
It’s a political statement.
At a time when India continues to be Nepal’s biggest partner, such messaging from a national carrier is not just irresponsible, it’s telling.
Fix the map.

I heard that the new Prime Minister of Nepal, the young engineer-rapper guy, has made it mandatory for all officials and politicians to ensure their kids study in government schools/colleges in their country.
Why can’t we do this? We have great government colleges and schools

We don’t ask Nepalis of Indian descent to refer to themselves as Indians/ Indian-Nepalis. Why do we want to force Indians of Nepali descent to call themselves Nepali/ Nepali-Indians?

I am a proud Indian Gorkha. Many see this as a controversy, but in India there are Gorkhas who speak the Nepali language. The culture, festivals, and rituals are all the same as in Nepal, it’s just that we are Indian, and I don’t think anyone should feel awkward about this. So, to those asking if I’m from Nepal — no, I’m a Gorkha from India, and I proudly celebrate Baisakhi the same way it’s celebrated in Nepal.
