An entirely different headline if this was the other way around. They are playing a game at the weekend and in midweek. This is a pretty standard occurrence when you're deep into multiple competitions in April and May. You'd think the doping, cry baby fraudsters would know that.

A lot of people are going to be reluctant to heap praise on a manager that can spend £84m on two top class Premier League players in January, a year after spending £173m in the winter window... Very few clubs can operate with that sort of financial flexibility. But... it's also worth noting... That Pep has engineered City's title pursuit with two midfielders playing at full-back, one of which a 21 year old who had started 6 League games prior to this season... With Gvardiol sidelined with a broken leg since January.... With Rodri still very clearly recovering from an ACL injury... And I think it's fair to say a decent chunk of the supporting cast having disappointing personal seasons... Foden, Savio, Marmoush etc The fact that his side could still do the domestic treble, is very impressive given they were 7 points back after 22 games and another sign of Pep's enduring quality as a manager!

It's not "weird", mainly because Matt GPT's book isn't, and never has been, "the No.1 paperback in Britain" overall, but also because he's posing in front of a "New Books for 2026" hardback display while promoting his paperback, which isn't available in hardback. The week that Goodwin's 'Suicide of a Nation' hit No.1 on 'the Sunday Times general paperbacks list', it still wouldn't have ranked anywhere near the top 10 of fiction paperbacks or children's charts, and its volume (4,425) was well below perennial high-sellers or blockbuster fiction. Its overall UK sales have NOT placed it in the absolute top 5 (or even top 20 consistently) when combining all paperback genres. Bestselling books in the UK are frequently fiction, children's, or long-running self-help titles that move far more units weekly. The launch-week gap (reaching No.20 with 5,539 sales vs. 33,000 for the actual No.1) illustrates why it categorically isn't and never has been "the No.1 paperback in Britain" overall. Weirdo
