@MasterDarcy79 @SirTomHunter I love NATS that take responsibility for nothing. Our Business Rates up 400%. Resulting in job losses. Yes labour with NI and minimum wage increases are also accountable.

@SirTomHunter I love how people, especially rich people, act like Scotland isn't a powerless colony and that the UK government aren't in charge.

A 481% increase in business rates, from £111,000 to £645,000 a year. Hearing this from Kevin Martin, Managing Director of MML Leisure, shows the reality facing hospitality. These are the kinds of costs that make it harder for businesses to keep going.

I'm often asked why I want Scottish independence, there are innumerable reasons, not least that I live closer to Vík í Mýrdal in Iceland 490 miles than London 540 miles. I have way more in common with Víkverjars than Londoners and have nothing at all in common with English MPs.

If re-elected the SNP will give private renters first-refusal to buy the home they live in at a fair market price if the landlord sells. Make it both votes SNP on May 7th for a government that’s on your side.

The SNP have increased business rates by an average of 12.6% this year. Some businesses have seen an increase even larger, including one bar in Glasgow going from £111,000 to £645,000. How are small and medium businesses supposed to survive in this environment? Only a vote for #ReformUK and @Malcolm_Offord on May 7 can stop this madness.

@Ryan01020304061 Easy so FIFA can justify the World Cup going back to Saudi Arabia in 2034 as per their rules it has to be rotated around each continent. Hence South America also has games in 2030 WC. It’s more FIFA bull 💩

@AdamCC92 The question remains. Why is such a clearly busy, successful businessman, living in England, so keen to take on the very hard job of representing constituents in Scotland in a wee pretendy devolved parliament? How will he find the time? But mostly, why?

Why would a millionaire Lord, living in England, running a successful business and director of 70 other companies, want to be an MSP in a pretendy wee devolved parliament? How would he find the time? One thing for sure: it's not for the benefit of Scotland or Scottish people.
Fergie@Fergie_CJ

@AdamCC92 @rowan9sam Yes, Companies House is always interesting. You really have to wonder how a guy living in England with 70 company directorships, running his own company on top would find time to be FM of Scotland. And why he'd want to be.

@ginadavidsonlbc why are unionists so quick to talk down a trade success by the FM, yes with UK officials and CIII involved? Why must Scotland be controlled by London? It hasn't worked for us too well up till now.

🛒 @theSNP will cap the price of essential foods in large supermarkets. People are struggling to put food on the table and Westminster is nowhere to be seen. @theSNP's price cap will ensure people can afford the essentials for a balanced diet. Make it #BothVotesSNP on 7th May.

Bill Maher: “Disneyland for a family of four to spend the weekend between the costs of tickets, plus lodging, airfare, rental cars, souvenirs, food, we’re talking $10K… Disneylands staff manual used to read, ‘We roll out the red carpet for the Jones family from Joliet just as we would... for the Eisenhowers from Palm Springs.’ No you don’t because the Eisenhowers from Palm Springs can buy a Lightning Lane premier pass that lets you skip the lines. The Jones family can suck my d*ck.”

@DrewDavenportFF That really is the best way to describe it…audacious. It is almost impressive how much they are trying to bilk this world cup. Ive got a lot of family members all sitting on the sidelines. No one is paying $600+ for a group-stage ticket. We will stay at home.

What FIFA has done to the World Cup experience for fans is unconscionable. The number of times they’ve tried to get money from me in various ways in order to have the *chance* to buy tickets is awesome in its audacity. “Hey so if you wanna give us money to be in the Super Duper Extra Special Insiders Club you can possibly get some seats to see the Federated States of Micronesia against Kyrgyzstan at 10 am on a Wednesday for 3 thousand bucks. Oh and if you try to grill a hot dog in the parking lot we’re gonna punch you in the liver. You in?”

In a country as wealthy as Scotland, nobody should be struggling to make ends meet. While the UK Labour government sits on its hands, the SNP will always act to help people with the cost of living using all powers we have - including capping bus fares and essential food prices.
