@TheGriftReport @DavidLuckyMe Great work by Derek Bennett.
However, there is an easier solution. STOP voting for useless cunts in local elections, based on the colour of their rosette. Vote for the local businessman independent candidate that actually wants to do something for the local area 🤷♂️

ONE MAN CRUSHES COUNCIL IN POTHOLE WAR USING FORGOTTEN LAW!
Retired 68-year-old Derek Bennett took on lazy Hertfordshire County Council after they ignored dangerous potholes ruining roads in Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead.
Using obscure Section 56 of the Highways Act 1980, he served legal notices, then dragged them to court when they failed to act.
Judge at St Albans Crown Court ordered the council to fix THREE major roads within 20 days and awarded Bennett £1,650 costs.
“If everyone did this, we’d have lovely roads within six months,” he said.
Absolute legend just exposed how useless councils really are!
Derek Bennett, 68, pictured outside St Albans Crown Court, took action after becoming fed up with the potholes in streets in his home village of Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire and nearby Hemel Hempstead

@PhiMorsou @spenniy Anyone who wants to leave the country to avoid paying extortionate amounts of tax can.
What incentive is there for them to stay?
What do they get out of staying?
English

@arcadeuk @spenniy We sell our public service provision to private companies and they take profit without improving the infrastructure. Water rates are a prime example of that.
Why do we spend so much time punching down at poor people and none at all on people who leave the country to avoid tax
English

I firmly believe that living in the #UK is becoming unsustainable for many.
It’s a bankrupt country.
There are too-few people to haul the heavy locomotive and quite frankly I’m fed up of being one of those people.
Something has got to change.

@piers_J_morgan @JohnMobile15 @RupertLowe10 So now that you have discovered Restore is not for you, which party will you be voting for?
Given your dislike for Jewish people, I am guessing Labour?
English

As i thought. You single out Muslim for persecution and ignore other hostile immigrant threats to British culture. Where is the ban on Synagogues, the Board of Deputies, a limit on Parliamentary representation of minorities in our Government. Jews represent 0.02% of the population but 20% of our Seat of Government is taken by Jews. If you want British back, you can't just get rid of the Muslim threat, you need to get rid of the Jewish threat too.
English

Incredible news. We have just received Electoral Commission confirmation that Restore Britain is now officially registered as a political party.
Our aim is simple - win the next general election and restore our great country.
Join us in that mission.

@Looka_26 @Motor1com Jaguar re-designed it's entire brand, for a car, that had a target audience size of around 2 to 8 people in the UK 🤣

English

@Motor1com The paradox is that the Type 00 EV is unlikely to have a large enough market!
English

Jaguar had four new cars in development before the Type 00 EV killed them:
- New F-Type
- New F-Pace
- New XF
- New XJ

English

@grok @flufferbot01 @Looka_26 @Motor1com how many total people is that in the uk (also of adult car drivers)
English

UK stats: ~3.8% identify as LGB (ONS 2024 latest). EVs ~5.4% of cars on UK roads. Pink car? Niche preference, under 2% would pick it per color surveys. Afford £150k car? Top ~3% by income/wealth. Rough overlap (assuming loose independence): ~0.0002% of population, or 1 in ~500k. Super rare group!
English

@flufferbot01 @Looka_26 @Motor1com @grok what percentage of the population are LGBTQ, and also drive an EV and would buy a pink car and could afford a £150k car ?
English

@Looka_26 @Motor1com Why because the LGBT community is like 2% of the population, or because no one wants EVs?
Or because the portion of the LGBT community that also wants EVs is probably like .5% of the population…

@hector_drummond According to the council website, the grey bin with orange lid is for partially eaten sandwiches only.
Completely uneaten sandwiches will continue to be disposed of in the orange bin with grey lid as before.

@EPICGOPFAIL Well.....
I was not expecting an Illegal street drifting cow race
English

@SophiaWenzler @hunt_theW Did he ever try anything other than nothing?
English

@Babygravy9 @LeoKearse Now if we could somehow get statistics to show that speed cameras are catching too many black people.......
English

Incredible.
>British police say facial recognition cameras should be used to catch criminals.
>The cameras catch criminals.
>They’re largely black.
>The police turn the cameras off.

@AntiWokeMemes @MalcolmNeeds54 I haven't survived this far in my life by listening to anything globalist establishments have told me to do 🤷♂️

@ejames500 @AWordIfIMay "unless someone says they are a "refugee" in which case we suspend all laws, allow them to do anything they want, and provide them with a life of luxury at taxpayers expense"

@arcadeuk @plumbingjedi @brumbitcoin You clearly mentioned overnight - something that batteries can handle.
Longer term storage requires different tech such as pumped storage.

@brumbitcoin Kevin fails to account for what we do at night time when his magical panels don’t work.
English

Kevin is pretending that we can store energy generated in the summer to use in the winter.
Kevin Holland@TheSolarShed
Covering 3% of the UK with solar would generate as much electricity as the UK uses in a year. We have the solutions.
English

@jackal84728450 @jcorriv35 No, he shifted after the tyres hooked up, else he would just be spinning his wheels forever and would have lost the race.
English

@arcadeuk @jcorriv35 So he's avoiding driving in the rev limiter by driving in the rev limiter
got it
English

@jackal84728450 @jcorriv35 He's waiting for the tyres to hook up before shifting, else he'd have still been bouncing off the limiter after shifting.
English

@jcorriv35 I hate how he hangs out waaay took long in the rev limiter zone tween 1 & 2.
And yeah, I know that's the famous Marcos Chavez.
Don't care.
English

@TheGriftReport This case doesn't make sense.
So you can't fire someone for health and safety
violations?
What would have happened if he had injured himself (or others) I bet LIDL would still be liable.
How does "fear of rejection" stop you from having to follow employer rules?
English

"FEAR OF REJECTION" LIDL WORKER WINS £45K PAYOUT AFTER DEFYING BOSS ON SAFETY!
Ryan Toghill secretly used heavy powered pallet trucks at the Ystrad Mynach store, despite his manager explicitly banning him for safety reasons.
Sacked for gross misconduct, he sued claiming his ADHD caused crippling “fear of rejection” sensitivity, making him appear totally remorseless in the disciplinary hearing.
Cardiff employment tribunal ruled unfair dismissal, Lidl failed to make reasonable adjustments for his condition.
He’s been handed £45,147 compensation.
Britain’s workplaces officially run on feelings now!

@Anglo3000 @Ofcom I operate a website in the UK.
I am under no obligation to comply with North Korean law.
North Korea cannot fine me for not complying with some law they invented last week.
A website operator in the US has no obligation to comply with UK law 🤦♂️
English

@Ofcom My unpopular opinion is that this is a good idea.
I assumed they are just anti-4chan because 4chan is right-wing, but no, I connected to a UK NordVPN server and they are, in fact, blocking pornhub and everything else.
So yeah, it is equal application of the law, at first glance
English

We've fined 4chan £450,000 for not having age checks in place to prevent children seeing porn on its site.
The Online Safety Act is concerned with protecting people in the UK. It doesn't require platforms to restrict what people in other countries see.

English

@aruni_t @KhunPat27 He has specifically shown a living cost comparison as a PERCENTAGE of salary
English

@KhunPat27 You’re comparing a developed economy like the UK to a developing one like Thailand. Lower costs/taxes often come with trade-offs in wages (unless you have investments and a salary in £), infrastructure, and public services.
English

@twit_grim @plumbingjedi @brumbitcoin The entire thread started about storing summer power for use in winter. I costed up a battery to cover than and you told me I was pulling the figures out of my arse. I have shown my figures, you have not refuted anything.

English

@arcadeuk @plumbingjedi @brumbitcoin You started this with talking about overnight.
Now you're moving goalposts.
