What songs can you simply NOT listen to? They instantly make you skip the track or change station? For me there are only two. Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On Dexy’s Midnight Runners - Come on Eileen The 2nd particularly is so terrible and ingrained into my brain from attending a glut of 80s and 90s family weddings that I simply cannot allow it in my ears.

Just now in… The Golden Fleece 16 Pavement York Built 1503 What a pub!! You’ve got to come here if you’re ever in York!! Love it here already!! What a place!! Spoilt for everything here!!🤩❤️❤️ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Fl… @ChelseaDan5 @VinnieSull1van @Britains___Pubs From their site… The Golden Fleece in York, located on Pavement near The Shambles, is a historic inn dating back to at least 1503. Known as one of York's most haunted pubs, it originally served merchants from the Merchant Adventurers' Guild trading wool and later acted as a coaching inn, with a reputation for holding executed bodies in its cellar! Mentioned in city archives in 1503, the pub is believed to have been named after the wool traders (Merchant Adventurers) who frequented it. The courtyard behind the inn is called Lady Peckett's Yard, named after Alice Peckett, who owned the inn with her husband John Peckett (a former Lord Mayor of York) in the early 18th century. Often cited as the most haunted pub in York, it is reputedly home to 15 ghosts, including Lady Peckett, a Canadian airman (Geoff Monroe) who died in 1945, and ‘One-Eyed Jack’. Due to its proximity to the Pavement area where executions took place, the cellar was historically used as a temporary morgue.

Went to my friend Matt's funeral on Friday. The final walk past the coffin song was Jon Secada - Just Another Day. Inspired. What closing song would you have at your funeral?
