@CyrusDhabhar @DelhiAirport @DelhiPolice I think, you have to get your ticket by showing your connecting flight ticket before you get into the bus. If you missed it then yes, they charge you 20/30 rs.

Dress like a circus magician if you must, but don’t drag Maharashtra’s cultural identity into this costume drama. This looks like garish excess stitched together from the discount pile of a fabric market. Also, please fire the person who approved the outfits meant to “represent” Maharashtra at Cannes. And finally, Alia… you are forgiven.

What a refreshingly beautiful bride you make, Swanandi Sardesai! Simple Maharashtrian jewellery, an elegant nauvari saree & the nath. Sorry if we linger on your pictures a little longer, you see, our eyes aren’t quite used to a bride being this basic & yet this ethereal. More pictures from her wedding are here: instagram.com/p/DXvlO0SAjOJ/…

Adhokshaj Karhade who goes by AK because it’s probably easier names his son Akshobhya Chaitali Adokshaj Karhade (ACAK) which sounds more like the name of a govt. scheme than a baby’s name. A nightmare for school teachers!

@godbole_shilpa Not at all. I know one coach in Pune marketed 3/4 different brands shoes and 2 brands apparel. 80/90% are like that. How anyone can trust this?

I am asking you again, when you see a video of a fitness influencer on insta talking about some product which they claim works, do you actually believe the claim & find yourself buying the product? I am genuinely curious. I think influencer marketing gone past its peak.. but I see brands still indulging in it, wonder why.

@sumedh_bp @metrorailpune @PMCPune @mohol_murlidhar @ChDadaPatil It has started this week only. I think ppl are frustrated because of ppl living in that lane. They are even abusing if we park on the road. Now two car washing, one bhaji wala, one plant wala shoes already started. Who is responsible??

But do they love patriotism?? In Pune, patriotism is a public service, performed at traffic signals with loudspeakers playing songs about valor, bravery & राष्ट्रप्रेम. It’s fine if we go deaf at least it’ll be in the service of patriotism, no?

By now, it’s clear why many of us oppose the BB–PP road.
If you or someone you know supports it, I would like to understand why.
Please help by taking & sharing this poll. I support the building of Balbharati-Paud Phata road because;

Declare pigs as community animals. Like dogs, we demand equal rights for pigs. There should be a feeding point for pigs inside the societies because pigs used to roam on the land earlier. No pig should be captured and removed from the streets.

When I retweeted @Vikrchan’s post on empty nesters, I wanted to add my own thoughts. But honestly, it already captured everything we parents feel when children leave home. Today, I stumbled upon something I had written back in 2011 on a Facebook group about my kids growing up. Just Another Summer. June 3, 2011 The pre-monsoon showers brought with them the much needed cool air, enchanting aroma of droplets romancing the warm parched soil. The pleasures of summer! We moan endlessly about the heat, the power cuts but the whiff of alphansos and sweet tangy smells of payri mangoes, the succulent lychees, the sour jambhuls ... the afternoons of nothing to do and the lazy mornings makes this season more than bearable. Dear summer, you will be missed much! I have been found whispering to many about how I cannot wait for the vacations to be over and to have the kids back in school. But last night as we put them to bed with the rain incessantly dancing away in the background, I looked at two chubby hands rubbing her nose, my little girl will be going to Senior K.G (Kindergarten) and 1st standard next year. I so want to hold on to her babyness. Her english-marathi minced lingo, her silly logical arguments I am not ready for the transition, I hugged my kids and wished for summer to linger on, maybe a month more? Monsoons in India mean beginning of new school year, new friends, all new school paraphernalia. And the good old routine. It also means my kids are a year older. They have climbed another step and are now needed to do more work, wider and challenging curriculum is waiting for them. My babies are growing. I feel this pang more now than on their birthdays. When I tell my son that it's OK to feel a little sad at the thought of going back to school again, I remember my school and how I dreaded the starting of another year, it did not matter if the preceding vacation was boring, the new school bag and the freshly covered new text books meant of no vanity for me as I can see the same for him. I feel his hesitance and that look on his face when everyday morning he counts backwards the number of days left for school to start. Every year we parents ask our kids to pull it through, we tell them that there is this good life awaiting them after a sound education. As I give the endless pep talk I have a lump in my throat partly because these cute pair of innocent eyes are buying my every word  and more so because motherhood confers upon you this extraordinary empathy, of feeling your child's pain as though it's your own. Sometimes it takes the change of seasons to remind us that these tender moments won’t last forever. Added 2025: And now, the house is quiet. The rain no longer means covering textbooks or packing snack boxes. It simply falls, soft and steady, reminding me of those nights when I wished summer would stay. Empty nest? Maybe. Empty heart? Not a chance.

At Nalstop metro, who thought a food court was a priority? What we actually need is 2-wheeler parking, as all the internal lanes are choked with parked vehicles daily. ALSO, is it even legal? @metrorailpune @PMCPune @mohol_murlidhar

Let me present you the Keshavnagar Bus stand in Pune. (A smart city, Top 10 cleanest city of India) Average property taxes and Stamp duty, registration charges collected from new residents here: 1cr each. Even if ~2000 flats are registered each year, assume the money collected by PMC. And in exchange the residents don’t even have a decent hard floor bus-stand! Roads you already know! @PMCPune स्वच्छ पुणे ?
