Mumbai has the Wankhede Stadium, the Brabourne Stadium and the DY Patil Stadium. Bombay Gymkhana has also hosted Test cricket.
The city has not hosted a marquee Test: India v Australia, since 2004.
Is another stadium, far from the heart of the city, at huge cost, the real need of the hour?

Your PF goes up. Take home may drop slightly. Retirement corpus grows significantly.

Mumbai’s current airport once had a railway line passing through where it exists today !
There existed a direct railway line from Kurla to Andheri which started from Trombay and went to Andheri via Kurla and via the land which is today part of Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji maharaj international Airport.
It was known as the Salsette-Trombay railway. It passed through/had stations at Wadavali, Mahul road,Kurla, Agre road (presently LBS marg) then went via CST road towards Santacruz with halts at Kolovery and Kole-Kalyan and then finally towards Andheri with halts at Sahar and Chakala.
That railway line started in 1928 and ended in 1934 to build the airport.
Though a railway line from Mahul’s oil refineries to Kurla still exists today which may or may not be a part of that original Salsette-Trombay railway line.

BCCI just proving that they no longer care about test cricket in India.
They have once again ignored venues like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Dharmshala and instead they have given the test matches to Ranchi, Guwahati and Ahmedabad once again.
A series like BGT which can be so crucial for WTC and still playing at random venues.
This was the chance to host matches where crowd is behind the team , they come in numbers.

This is wild. 143 million people thought they were catching Pokémon. They were actually building one of the largest real-world visual datasets in AI history. Niantic just disclosed that photos and AR scans collected through Pokémon Go have produced a dataset of over 30 billion real-world images. The company is now using that data to power visual navigation AI for delivery robots. Players didn't just walk around with their phones. They scanned landmarks, storefronts, parks, and sidewalks from every angle, at every time of day, in lighting and weather conditions that staged photography would never capture. They documented the physical world at a scale no mapping company with a fleet of vehicles could have replicated on the same timeline or budget. Niantic collected this systematically, data point by data point, across eight years, while users thought the only thing at stake was catching a rare Charizard. The most valuable AI training datasets in the world aren't being assembled in data centers. They're being built by people who have no idea they're building them.

I got my tickets in the first sale, but this behaviour from @BookMyShow is still disappointing. The match is tomorrow and tickets are still being held back. How are fans from the North East or the South supposed to plan travel now? Faith in your team doesn’t mean spending thousands on flights and hotels before qualification.
