@bettersafetynet Solid advice and I too am very confused by what I thought I knew and what appears to have happened.

@shop How can I prevent your platform for signing me up for "news and offers" each time I sign in. This should be an opt-in and not an opt-out.

@hartk1213 @MandicReally Oh man, I may have to abandon my stealthchanger build for this instead. Looks so much more cleaner! Hoe do you think that two compare? Does a SC have any advantages over the INDX?

Happy I can finally share this ..been running indx on my v2 350 for a while now ..made a new gantry for it so I can mount all the indx tools on the rear instead of the front...with a nice RGB cover to hide the rear of the toolhead..it turned out really nice so far

@_noid_ @archer36 @GrrCON ABSOLUTELY! Last year i was sick and slept through the start and they still had them at like 1:30 am so I could see it being more dropping shortly. I know I am still refresh spamming

@GrrCON Was there only 1 or something? I hit it right when it opened. I had the opportunity to add one, but it wouldn't let me check out. Then it went unavailable again. Much confuse.

@_josehelps So less malware because AI gets real good at reversing it and more “using good/neutral things for malicious purposes” right?

The more and more “agentic AI malware analysis pipelines” are created and open sourced the more and more actors are just going to abuse the trust on your systems (eg BYOVD, RMMs, LOLBINs etc).. just watch the flip. 🙃

@HackingDave I’ve been taking weight training more seriously for the past year or so and I like what I feel and see and want to progress. Any recs for an at home bench, I don’t have a ton of space. I’ve seen suggestions for Keppi 6000, Giant 2x, ab-3000 and a few others. Thanks!

@NathanMcNulty Missing a semi interactive terminal was/is one of my biggest complaints of MDE once we switched off the other guys. It massively complicates and slows down IR when you are trying to stop them from lat moving, encrypting and exfiling your data. Love this!

@emberprototypes Tough one, a table saw w/ sled can make more accurate and repeatable cuts. The miter is faster and with a good fence setup can make repeatable cuts but like a 3D printer a sliding/compound saw is less rigid affecting accuracy. Since you mentioned metal, I’d go with the miter saw.

Crowd sourcing here. If you want to cut wood and occasional metal (eg. aluminum extrusion), would you want a table saw or chop saw? I can only pick one 🫠

This is one of many things that years of building @Prusa3D machines gets you... spare parts drawers for DAYSSS. 😊 Shout out to my homie @Steve_Builds and his awesome Akro-Mills drawer mods for better space utilization for smaller parts. 🥰

@MandicReally PB Swiss has colored ones that use a similar method to the Klein but with proper geometry. But boy are they pricy.

DON’T buy these Klein ball hex wrenches. The colors w/o adding to the width is nice BUT the ball hex geometry is bad. It gets stuck in fasteners. I thought maybe it was cheap screws on my last project, but NOPE. Here I’m lifting this by the ball hex that’s stuck in a screw. 😬

Spent some time with the T-Lora Pager from Lilygo: - Launcher firmware is supported - Successfully boots Bruce and/or Meshtastic. - I could only get Meshtastic 2.7.x for it, even when I built it from source - Building Bruce and Meshtastic from source is pretty easy, once you've mastered platform IO :) - There is no IR or CC1101 on the T-Lora pagers, and there are some - There is a model with the LR2221, which is a better LoRa radio - It has GPIO similar to the Flipper, conceivably you could add your own IR or CC1101... - Make sure to get the NRF add-on, which is a Nordic nRF24L01, which I hope will allow me to do NRF stuff with the Bruce firmware I really like the larger screen, jog wheel interface, and the buzz for tactile feedback when you press a key... I will bring mine to GrrCon (along with a bunch of other hardware hacking stuff that we are giving away)

Goodbye my sweet girl Ruby. You gave us 7 years of pure joy and blessings to this family. I heard a saying we only know dogs part of our life but to dogs we are their entire life. Until we meet again.
