The great innovation of America is our perception that "nobility" (he characterizes it almost perfectly) can be "anointed" in lots of ways, and found in many places. This is even more elitist than you imagine.

People misunderstand nobility so they miss why the anointment of God is so important and not some play at adding legitimacy. The nobleman must view himself literally as a higher being, separate and distinct from the common man, in order to love the common man. Think about why we on the right love animals so much, we constantly worry about their welfare, we pity their weaknesses, admire their strengths and see flashes of kinship in their most noble moments. If we saw ourselves the same as animals, and not of a higher spiritual order entirely, we would not love them as we do. So God or ordains the nobility so the nobility has the capacity for genuine love of the common man and find purpose in protecting his wellbeing.

@archer_keelson I don’t disagree. But blindly championing the wrong actions of “our guy,” knowing we would be up in arms had our opposition done the same thing has proven to only produce negative effects for our cause.

@archer_keelson I think that the context is different. I’m not so sure that a plain as day W is up for grabs. But as long as our people are recognizing the real issues and doing what is necessary to try to get back to the land. Then we’re not totally losing… if that makes sense.
