Sadly, there are a number of people who hated being manipulatively trope smeared as a “covidiot” and “granny killer” for standing up against lockdowns who are now doing the same trope smearing against those who question the US-Israel military action in Iran by accusing them of being a “mullah supporter”, “muslim appeaser” and “antisemite”. This is designed to shut down different opinions with disingenuous smearing. It is possible to condemn various authoritarian regimes in the Middle East and also call out decades of western military interventionism that have regularly made a bad situation even worse. And many of the previous Western military interventions in the Middle East have added to the huge refugee migration crisis sweeping Europe over the past 20 years. It is possible to entertain all these thoughts at the same time. Sadly, many can’t. It’s the usual bullshit pick a side tribalism that descends into grim trope smears designed to shut down different opinions.

@JamesMelville Proud of Italy, for once… my family probably lowers that percentage to less than 5% (I can’t think of anything else than crisps, appetizers and some of the cookies tbh)

@mccogdog The reverse headstock requires reverse thinking 😁 That would throw me off too. Haven’t actually had one. I have a few Ibanez’ but not reversed headstocks.

When I went to tune the new Ibanez, I gotta admit the reverse headstock tripped me up for a second 🎸😂
