I have some old x86 computers that I no longer need, but which are too good to waste. Even if they can't run Windows 11, they can still run #linux well. Anyone know of a charity in #Wales that recycles old computers for folks who can't afford one?

Origin Effects have just launched their 5e3-in-a-box Deluxe55 pedal. It's a full preamp, not just an overdrive pedal. Even mimics the speaker impedance curve from a real Tweed Deluxe amp. They've released an IR pack too to go with the pedal, I believe?

My timeline is full of folks worried about our dependence on the US for military security. I haven’t seen anyone (yet) worrying about our utter dependency on American technology. We have no alternatives to turn to should a Trump presidency limit foreign access to basic tech.
