#IndianaJones
How many of you noticed, in the first cut in Tanis, the flying wing under the tarp and the fuel truck that ends up exploding?
By the way, did you know there was a small camel stampede on the film set in the Tunisian desert?
Have a great weekend, IJ fans.

BREAKING: UHH!? Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear received evidence that Mitch McConnell is actually dead despite the infamous "proof of life" photo.
This story just got ten thousand times weirder...
"Mitch McConnell's boss are the people of Kentucky, they're our constituents which deserve honesty and transparency," Beshear told journalist Katie Couric.
“It had been a month before anything had been put out, not even an official statement from Senator McConnell,” he continued. “In fact, I’d gotten two calls from different agencies, not state agencies, suggesting he’s passed."
The implication here seems to be that the governor was contacted by federal agencies about McConnell's possible demise. If so, he should clarify and reveal the full content of those calls.
The senator has been hospitalized for four weeks now after suffering a cardiac arrest and receiving CPR. Independent journalists have reported that he's braindead. More bizarre still, his wife Elaine Chao flew to China right after he was admitted to the hospital to meet with high-ranking CCP officials.
As speculation was spreading that McConnell had shuffled off this mortal coil, his office put out a photo that purported to show the senator and Chao in a hospital. Nobody was convinced by it.
In 2026, a photo simply does not suffice as credible proof of life. Artificial Intelligence makes it too easy to fake photographs now. Not only that, but Republican Senator Ron Johnson said that he'd heard it was actually an "older photo."
"Now, we've gotten a little bit. We've gotten one official statement and one picture," said Beshear. "And hopefully what that means is he's still with us, which is what we all want."
We leave it to you dear reader to decide if that is indeed what we "all want."
Beshear urged McConnell, if he's still breathing, to call into a reputable news outlet. He added that politicians give up their right to "privacy" when they take up the mantle of public service.
"What do you think of that photograph that was released?" asked Couric. "There's been so much speculation about it, as you know Governor Beshear. A lot of people are saying that it's AI. A lot of people are saying that it's just not accurate. I'm curious what you think of the photo. Have you been able to get it verified? Is it real? What do you know about it?"
"So, before I posted I sent a letter, an official letter asking for an update or at least asking them to update the people of Kentucky," said Beshear. "Our office has received nothing. Nothing in response. No email. No call. No written letter, but they did put out the statement."
"And the reason I think that there's all of this rampant speculation out there is, again, he hasn't called in to anything!" Beshear went on. "There's no video in the age of social media saying 'Hey everybody, I'm okay and I'm going to be able to get back to my job.' Just some really basic things that I think any of the rest of us, not just in government and politics but in the media and other places would do."
This final point is well-observed. McConnell could put an end to all of this speculation by simply releasing more photos or a video and giving an interview to a real reporter. Instead, it's radio silence.
And this isn't just idle conspiracy theorizing. Republicans have a perverse incentive to cover up McConnell's death, if indeed that's what occurred. If he's, shall we say, enjoying a far hotter climate right now, then Governor Beshear would get to fill his seat while a special election is planned.
How do you think history will remember Mitch McConnell?
Please ❤️ and share if you don't buy the official story about McConnell!
