@CipherCommand @hutchinson This dude was one of the members of a harassment ring trying to harass liberal creators like @hutchinson and @TheOmniLiberal. These guys knew what they were doing, they just are panicking because the logs of their behind the scenes behavior got leaked.

I’m not familiar with @hutchinson but here’s my question, why are we bringing up dead relatives? I genuinely don’t understand the pivot that a lot of online creators make. If someone makes a living streaming for several hours a day, I’m sure there are things that you can criticise that don’t require dancing on someone’s grave. I don’t know you @greengarry_ but you strike me as a retard or at the very least, someone who is severely ill equipped for online commentary.

@jonfavs @mattberg33 Okay. Wait. So another interpretation of this could easily be. The Analysis didn't find Gaza that impactful to what it was looking at (which other data actually points to), and that people agitating for this are specifically trying to make Gaza the issue this is about...

The DNC is cash-poor and enmeshed in a controversy of its own making, but how big a problem is it for Democrats? How worried should we be about the midterms? The answer might surprise you:

@ardonpitt @Wilson__Valdez @yourlittldogtwo I know, so what I mean by rigging is the overt bias in the primaries. Ideally, I actually want liberal MSM and the DNC to be as neutral as possible. The voters themselves are free to say whatever they want though.

@bell_cranel2024 @Wilson__Valdez @yourlittldogtwo It wasn't rigged... Bernie just lost. Fact is Bernie just wasn't as popular as a lot of people think, he was a decently unpopular senator among the political class who had little record of successes or working together. Biases against him aren't rigging.

@Wilson__Valdez @yourlittldogtwo Wait, 2016 was actually rigged against Bernie. Not saying the Democratic establishment has an obligation to be unbiased in the primaries, but leftists have the right to be mad at that. I agree that the 2020 elections were not rigged against Bernie though.

@neeratanden @JonahDispatch You're right. Hasan is an illiberal figure who actually isn't that popular even among Dems who are aware of him. He's getting a lot of media attention, but he hardly represents party's ideals. We should push back against his illiberalism.

@AndrewKolvet Trump specifically called for his followers to beat up protesters , and made comments that 2nd Amendment people could "do something" about Hillary Clinton... Bruh.

Trump never called for vigilante assassinations. The left has. Trump said mean things about people who died who were very vicious to him. You can disagree with it. You can call it in bad taste. I did. But he never called for, or justified, cold blooded murder. The left has.

@henry_frenchy @TheOmniLiberal I love how conservitards only frame of reference for understanding politics is digging out Nazi theorists rather than engaging in the conversation at hand... This argument has nothing to do with a "friend-enemy distinction" its about how support works in politics.

No, that's not how it works. Two people supporting the same candidate aren't automatically aligned with each other. They can (and often do) have radically different reasons for backing that candidate. Destiny is applying a classic friend-enemy distinction - the idea that politics fundamentally reduces to identifying allies versus existential threats. This framework was famously articulated by Carl Schmitt (the Nazi jurist and political theorist) and has been a mindset commonly embraced as a core strategy by totalitarians, including Lenin and Mao.

btw, when people like @Asmongold openly admit they want 0 pushback for anything they say, this is an admission that they have no value about a "marketplace of ideas" or "open discourse" or anything, they want to preach to a choir in an insulated, protected echo chamber fortified by social media algos Nothing about this resembles anything remotely close to "free speech" or the purpose of why free speech exists.

@aywysuwisndy @TheOmniLiberal I hate to say it, but that quite literally is how any choice is going to end up working due to limited resources. Insurance companies are basically financial triage.

Why is someone suffering from a rare cancer needing an experimental liver transplant an example of insurance companies being “greedy”??? Do you think there is ANY medical system on earth that simply covers every single theoretical treatment for every single disease, no matter the cost?????
Sean Hutch@voiceoffcamera

@TheOmniLiberal No one cares how it is “supposed” to work when the reality is that people that have paid their premiums expecting insurance to work when it’s needed for life-saving treatments, and a greedy bureaucracy leads to denials.

@magi_jay Honestly my biggest problem with Progressives, is the foundational belief that politics will "progress" to their utopian vision, so the work of politics ends up being seen as a roadblock. The problem is the belief in progress, not evolution.

Noteably, Spanberger is also getting hit hard by the right for what she's doing. And the attacks are working. Yet few on the "progressive" side show up to vociferously defend her. Rather, they attack her. What's the incentive structure being created for Democrats, here?
Tim@trouble_man90

Leftists hate that Spanberger is doing progressive things without bowing down at their feet. She doesn’t partake in their jargon or lingo, or perform progressivism the way they do. She’s passing progressive legislation and doing it while being a normie liberal and they don’t like it

Love you guys but you've given him more airtime than some people considering a run for President Sorry if I think it's important to state out loud on here my disagreements with a guy who says it's ok to murder people, Jews are inbred, America was responsible for 9/11 and Russia was right to invade Crimea, amongst other insane things.
Jon Favreau@jonfavs

Zero people have tried to make Hasan Piker "the spokesman for Democrats." He showed up at one campaign event with one candidate in a primary and sat for some interviews. What's embarrassing is the number of people on here treating him like he's a 2028 contender or DNC Chair.
