The Democrats’ foreign policy machine, NIAC and Trita Parsi types, and their friends in legacy media have spent years selling “engagement” with the Islamic Republic from comfy think tank chairs and New York Times bylines. They pose as experts, PhDs, and neutral journalists while lobbying for policies that help Tehran, not the Iranian people.
