The head of Pasadena Humane says that they're taking names of people who are willing to foster animals that are coming into the shelter that are displaced from the Eaton Fire. She says that the main thing they need is money. Please donate if you're looking for a way to help.

The city should probably just approve the bonds. The county probably should too. Maybe that will force the team to terminate the deal if the economics truly don’t work. Regardless I’m tired of this telenovela.

good morning! a lot of animal shelters are hosting holiday fostering programs. you can take a dog home for the long weekend and give them a break from the shelter plus some good thanksgiving cheer. reach out to your local shelter and make a dog’s dreams come true!

@LpcProf But also yes, a lot of times they do get adopted by their families. People fostering for the first time, especially, are likely to adopt the pet they're fostering!
