@stephancasas Means a lot coming from you Stephan. Can’t wait to work together!

I get this question a lot, and I can finally answer that nearly everyone who works on the ChatGPT macOS app has been stretched thin, and hard at work building Atlas.
macOS is where we live + work, and we’re passionate about making that experience with ChatGPT into something truly exceptional. There’s a lot of work to do, but OpenAI’s acquisition of @skybysoftware is a serious leap toward that goal.
They’re the most talented group of macOS engineers that I personally know, and I’m excited to see how they’ll take ChatGPT’s integration to the next level.
In the mean time, please continue to submit feedback/bug reports, and we’ll continue to burn through them!

@EthanLipnik the app is also horribly buggy. after like a year of trying to deal with it i’ve fully given up on it. @stephancasas can you let us know what’s going on? 🙏 i want it to be good so bad

Beautiful manifesto. Jason is thinking about AI in a different way from anyone else I know… it's so communal and human-centered.
Can't wait to see where this goes.

I'm starting a new company to go all in on Social Intelligence. This is a deeply personal mission to me, one that feels like the inevitable culmination of everything I've ever worked on. I wrote a manifesto about why:

What do macOS ChatGPT updates even do?
• It still doesn't use the Tahoe design
• It still doesn't have Codex, GPT Apps, model selector in custom GPTs
• It just advertises Atlas
• Redundant UI for stuff like deep research vs GPT-Pro
• Menubar is extremely buggy and unreliable
• Closing your laptop breaks long running tasks

Excited for @skybysoftware to join our team, they’re incredibly thoughtful and talented developers for Mac. Can’t wait to bring the magic of Sky into ChatGPT.
Congrats and welcome @arix @conradev @iamkim + whole team!

OpenAI is so lucky to have @skybysoftware join up. Ari, Conrad, Kim and team have built amazing tech! Thankful for their trust in me as an investor 🙏
Also: wild it was ~16 years ago when @AriX and I first met on Twitter. Sometimes random DM's turn into lifelong friendships ♥️

So excited to join OpenAI and continue our work on Sky together with @ChatGPTapp!

I suspect that regret is optional: regret is the future-form of unprocessed emotions. It's the body saying hey I had more information about this thing that you didn't process before you decided/acted. It's *not* the body saying hey this thing didn't go well. That's I think the main misconception. If you truly digest all the info and emotions you have about a decision and it doesn't go well, regret will be ~0. If you don't digest the info/emotions and it does go well, regret can still be non-zero. The cause of the regret is the fact that you had useful information and didn't process it. Therefore to prevent regret on small decisions or big decisions, process all of the emotions about the decision. Doing so will often lead you to unexpected (better) outcomes! And to get rid of current regret, feel the feeling fully - you're still feeling it because your body wants you to listen so you do a different thing next time in similar situations

So happy for my Figma friends today!
I met @zoink via Twitter DM (!) in 2009 (!!) as a beta tester for an app I made (!!!).
Dylan inspires me so much; it's so satisfying to see him create an amazing product, technology, & company, while being such a kind and thoughtful person.
