@haider1 mythos being compute-gated instead of capability-gated feels like a strategic choice too what happens when they break that ceiling?

anthropic doesn't have enough compute to publicly release mythos the api pricing also suggests it could be far larger than gpt-5.5 base model anthropic has always reached the frontier by using bigger models and more tokens -- while openai focuses more on efficiency and serving billions of users

180,000. I need a second to actually feel this. I started this account in March 2021 posting into the void. No strategy. No audience. No idea if any of this would matter to anyone. Just things I was seeing that I genuinely believed other people needed to know before everyone else did. 6 years later you are 180,000 people who showed up. Some of you have been here since 10,000 followers. Some of you found me this week. Every single one of you changed what this became. The replies that kept me posting when I almost stopped. The DMs telling me something I shared changed how you work or think or build. The retweets from people with 100 followers who shared my posts before I had any reach. I read all of it. I still do. To everyone who is just starting out on here right now. I know what 0 feels like. I know what posting to silence feels like. I know what almost quitting feels like. Post anyway. The people who are supposed to find you will find you. They always do. To everyone who has been here through the journey. Thank you is not enough. But thank you. The cyrilXBT community is just getting started. 180K is not the destination. It is the foundation. We are going to 200K together. I love you all.

Earlier this year, I built a gamified habit tracker app, and it's one of the best things I've done with AI. It's a fully personalised productivity app - like Notion, but built around how I actually think & work. Everyone should have one of these. Build yours in 60 seconds:

@ziwenxu_ @thsottiaux lol the “cant proceed without an answer” loop is such a brutal way to watch ur balance evaporate does it at least stop on a force kill or does it keep grinding in the background too?

This bug in codex /goal just torched my tokens and nobody's talking about it if your agent requires an input and you clicked resume as goal it gets stuck in an infinite loop and obliterates your balance Be aware everyone @thsottiaux

Sunday I specifically asked to leave work so I could go play my league match. At one moment I honestly did not even know if it was worth it. I had not trained the whole week and without the training process football already feels completely different. Plus there were questions at work because for them the reason was obviously not “serious enough”. Even during the warm up it was hard to feel the ball properly, but minute by minute everything started coming back. And after the starting whistle we fully took control of the game. Almost all our build up goes through me as a defensive midfielder. In the first minutes I had a really good shot, but the goalkeeper saved it. We were completely outplaying the opponent and I genuinely started enjoying how both I and the team were playing. But at the end of the first half our center back made a mistake and their striker scored a 1v1. Honestly, I even laughed after the goal because it felt unfair. In the second half we only really woke up near the end. The opponent adapted to us, we hit the crossbar and missed a few very good chances. Final score 1:0 for them. We probably will not fight for the top places anymore because we dropped too many points already. And honestly I do not even know if I will play again this season because work most likely will not let me leave again. One positive moment though — I sent one opponent through his legs beautifully. If there is video from the match, I will definitely post it later. After the game everyone praised me again and honestly I felt myself that I played well. Some teammates even said: “If everyone played like you, we would have won.” But in matches like this I have to decide games myself and score important goals. Until that happens, all the praise means nothing to me.
