In the long run, the BCCI will have to think about IPL owners investing in other leagues. Even if you’re playing in two leagues a year, you’re getting paid decently. No overseas player wants to spend over 10 weeks in the heat of April and May, dealing with AQI levels of 250–300, traveling across the country, and attending hundreds of media programs and photoshoots in addition. Shortening the IPL and increasing base prices could be a solution. With still 8 days to go, there are already over a dozen players pulling out or becoming available only after the first two weeks.

I think Enzo is polarizing because people want him to be better than he is. He is good, but he’s probably not £100M good. He does score and assist a lot, but he’s also big liability defensively. He does a lot very well but I just don’t know if he fits with Caicedo. And Caicedo is better, so I’d prioritize him.

Hire dross expect dross it’s very simple. Chelsea hired directors from Brighton and Monaco and a manager from Strasbourg. PSG hired Luis Campos and Luis Enrique and actually signed the best young players in the world. Not Garnacho, Gittens and Delap!

I do think Rosenior needs to go. He’s definitely not the main point in fault but you can see early when a manager/coach looks out of depth and unfortunately this is an obvious case of one. Not a chance the dressing room has respect for him, says a lot when Gusto called out the tactics after the first leg. Sanchez will have support in the dressing room too after being dropped and Enzo speaking about his future after the game. There’s nobody holding that dressing room together.
