most of real work in world doesn’t involve computation, it involves politics. in operations, sales, management and even tech teams, how do you solve for this @sama @DarioAmodei ? or we have to wait for embodied ai robots to come over and correct this, lol.

@wintonARK yeah, and after an year with next gen nvidia launch, value of those gpus will drop by 50% or more, lol, not to forget it proves they have given up training own model, which makes spacex a loser in ai model space, and that’s biggest blunder one could make today, lol.

I always feel like these messages to aliens are overcomplicated I think a simple video collage showing what makes us human and our way of living is enough. Like you don't need to show them where our planet is, what hydrogen is or our fancy math theorems. THEY ALREADY KNOW They are an intelligent species capable of interstellar travel

codex is winning in vine coding power & ux both, if you are using claude, you are being left behind, true for atleast next 6 months, after that who knows, lol.

timelapse #143 (12 hrs) - got new m5 max 128gb - burning my rtx pro 6000 blackwell - switched workflow mainly to codex app as having to worry about ssh and terminal is getting annoying. i dont have to look at terminal text anymore as the codex app neatly formats everything. this is great since i can watch training runs or evals from my phone on data - watched starship post-pone - took care of legal work (its always painful) - supervising a nvfp4 cutlass gemm /goal run for 3d just to see it not verify its results against the baseline - finding a lot of success just from gpt 5.5 medium fast (not xhigh) - was using opus 4.7 to translate codex outputs to me but wasnt getting the intelligence i was used to with gpt 5.5 -- this is partially why i commited to codex app - been a while but i want to get back into doing these regularly - overall pretty productive day, although i could have watched how much i opened X to be less distracted

As you know, last year I resigned from my full-time job and become a professional technical book writer. I have plans for The Hundred-Page Books about reinforcement learning, computer vision, diffusion models, and more. Not having a full-time job has put a significant strain on my savings, so if you love my books and are waiting for more, I would appreciate your continuous support. I have finalized the offer for those who financially support me. Here's what I offer: - As a Cool Supporter 10 🚀 ($10/month), you will get early access to new book chapters, exclusive updates on what to really care about in AI and why (only the important stuff, no hype), and a free e-book copy of all new books. - As a Cool Supporter 30 🚀 ($30/month), you will get everything a Cool Supporter 10 🚀 gets, plus a signed hard copy of all new books. The names of all Cool Supporters 🚀 will be mentioned in the Acknowledgment section of the new books as important contributors. Your name, printed in the book, will remain in history forever! If you decide to become a Cool Supporter 🚀, you can choose from several platforms. Here's the list: linktr.ee/burkov If you choose Substack, you will also get a subscription to a weekly AI newsletter without ads.

@RangerBanker73 @RealPostFolder don’t believe this shit, she will miss that fun after marriage, and leave saying feels bored, any woman with body count >4 is unfit for marriage, all previous men’s dna remains in her, and always miss those memories.

@RealPostFolder Brother. Let me give you the facts of life. One of the factors of true love is accepting the flaws of your partner. You are there in good and bad times. This body count bs is ruining a lot of good relationships.

The gap between "technical" and "non-technical" when vibe coding. The problem with completely "vibe coding" a system is that the AI agents sometimes get lazy. And I know that the "pros" create systems to check their agents work from outside the original system. Tonight I got up from a nap and checked my AI news site: alignednews.com/ai It had a bunch of old stuff on it. Things from four days ago. I've given it explicit rules not to do that. But it gets lazy and doesn't listen to its own rules. So I yelled at my agent. It always cleans up its messes, but this is what separates a professional software engineer from me, or someone who isn't highly technical. (The site now is cleaned up). This has implications on software teams. And why "pro" software engineers who know how to actually code still matter. I see lots of people say things like "software engineering is dead." Um, no it's not.

@burkov in google’s case product silliness must be rewarded actually, that’s how you create mess which they routinely create, no other way.

At last, Antigravity looks like a clone of Codex, just the way they all should look. By the way, I know how in corporations they make decisions, so the one who insisted that the IDE must be included in Antigravity and be the default view, I hope the guy was sat in the box of shame for a week.

google searches are going to be funnily wrong (when llm quotes wrong sources), and social media is only place remaining for creators to monetise their content, web is no more that place, world changed overnight, sorry web changed overnight, lol 😂

So, Google redesigned the search by making the AI mode default. Now the question is: who and why would still produce new high-quality content if no one will leave Google to visit the web pages? If no one is visiting your website, you cannot earn from ads and you cannot earn from subscriptions either. Is Google planning to produce this content using AI? This is hardly imaginable. Or an army of low-pay workers? Again, hard to imagine. Did anyone ask this question? I mean sure, someone did. What was the answer? youtube.com/watch?v=p6EBMG…

@_itsjustshubh @arjunaaqa hooks win because they do not compete for context window space. CLAUDE.md instructions degrade as the file grows; a pre-tool-use hook fires deterministically every time, no attention budget required. ccmd.dev/r/w6gcixqi

top 5 claude code productivity tips - 1. use git worktrees + parallel sessions 2. ask it to plan before you implement 3. use hooks, not just claude.md 4. start fresh session per task 5. use /ultrathink for hard problems so how many are you going to use now ;)

when you built your agentic ai system, so, are your agents running using user credentials ? OR they have their own identity like an IAM with allowed policies & accesses, if you are in 1st category, run baby run, your systems are going to get hacked, very easily, lol.
