Scrolling the Sora 2 video stream just reinforces this truth from AI image generators - when given a tool that can make anything, people basically just make videos of cats, celebrities & anime characters (also Sam Altman). A feed that highlighted creativity might look different.

Today was my last day at @OpenAI. 20 months ago, I left the YC startup I founded to join the Codex team where I prototyped the first code interpreter demos. From there, I helped start the internal Human Data team, where we built tools to produce data for frontier efforts, one of which became ChatGPT. Subsequently, I contributed to building out the first version of ChatGPT Plus and the payments stack. Over the past few months, I was the founding member of the ChatGPT Growth team and owned efforts to reduce product friction through cross-platform changes to accelerate user growth, and led building out the first product events data pipeline across all OpenAI properties. As of today, my vanity pride metric is that I was the fourth most active PR contributor in the OpenAI monorepo. Right from the day I started, it was regularly 6 days a week in the office, with days beginning at 8 and ending late into the evening. Like many others, I had my share of countless late nights extinguishing fires to support scaling and stop bad actors. I have the deepest appreciation for my colleagues and the incredibly talented people I worked alongside. I am forever grateful for the once in a lifetime experience for everything I learned. Allons!
