Going to leave you with this tonight: The best thing you can do for yourself is actively increase your surface area for luck to hit you. Go outside, travel more, go to new cafes, museums, events, take a new route home, go for hikes, see cities, countrysides, take your notebook, speak to people, ask questions, start businesses - go on more side quests. You can literally just do things, and the more you do, the more serendipity and synchronicity will find you. Night gang.

Ok I will post my weight here with a pic every day while I'm cutting Today: 218.6lb For context- most of last few years I was around 210lb. The top right was my best physique 'recently'- May 2024- 208lb. I ran a 2:55 marathon this day 3rd pic May 2025- prob 213lb-also not in great shape because of building Aura-but somehow I ran 100 miles twice that month Also. I don't feel bad for getting out of shape. I put everything I had into building Share Aura tracking over the last 4mo. It was worth everything it took from me. I need to cut weight though because I'm supposed to run this backyard ultra (3rd pic) again in 30 days. I've been running a decent amount. But being this heavy is going to make it horrible Also Do not take health advice from me I am an app builder That is what I am

I have AIDHD. The models are so good that I’m working on 5 different projects a day. At first it felt like distraction, but I’ve shipped more features and apps in the last 3 months than ever before. AI made building fun again. It’s a better programmer than me, so I can focus on creativity instead. I’m grateful to be alive at this moment. Decades from now, people will look back at this era as the best time to be a maker. Huge respect to the people building the models so idiots like me can just make stuff.

This is the smartest counter I’ve seen to ai taking over jobs, in the short term. Is the ((aggregate tokens cost to do what an employee does + plus fully encumbered developer and maintenance costs ) / (fully encumbered employee cost ) )<= productivity ? If it takes 8 Claude agents, at $300 for tokens, per day, plus $200 per day in dev/maint , to do what an employee does per day, at a fully encumbered cost of $1200. That’s 2600/1200. But then you need to factor in the productivity rate. Is it more than 2.16 x productive ? Are there qualitative issues like morale, morality, whatever , that can’t be quantified, that need to go into the decision? What is the going forward progression of burdened costs for the tokens ? Curious what people think about this ?

I have actually thought about buying my wife a Pilates studio...... And not letting it lose money 🤣 The Playbook? Partner with a ton of local influencers to have them boost the brand. Run Facebook ads on the local influencers' top-performing videos. Go to every single local studio and recruit the most popular instructors and pay them more money than everyone else is paying. I wouldn't be profitable year one, but year two, highly likely chance I would be profitable.
