Can we all agree on one thing? Seattle is not a good rushing team. They are a heavy personnel passing team. If defenses are striving to “stop the run” they are mistaken.

AIPAC 🇺🇸🇮🇱
Rep. @sethmoulton is abandoning his friends to grab a headline, capitulating to the extremes rather than standing on conviction. His statement comes after years of him repeatedly asking for our endorsement and is a clear message to AIPAC members in Massachusetts, and millions of pro-Israel Democrats nationwide, that he rejects their support and will not stand with them.   AIPAC and our 5 million members are U.S. citizens who support a strong U.S.-Israel alliance. Our mission is to promote policies that strengthen this critical partnership that advances America's interests and democratic values. This strategic relationship is bigger than any government at any particular time in either country.

95% of the code being written by Claude doesn't imply that one person can build 20x as much. They may only be building 10% more, but that code is primarily as output from Claude. For me, with extensive claude config and planning, I feel like I can get a 10% - 100% improvement on velocity, depending on the particular problem. There are a few niche use cases where I'd say I see a 5x+ improvement, but it's a small percentage of my work.

@ReedHarmeyer @paulg ATProto is not decentralized. Just because they say it is doesn’t make it so.

@paulg Source: I currently have the second biggest app on atproto (Skylight) Paul, you’re assuming a particular victory condition that is different than the one they have! They’re a decentralized web company; Bluesky is meant to bootstrap the open social network so others can build.

Bluesky's usage graph. The pattern here is bad. Spikes when a bunch of new people show up, followed by declines when the new arrivals are disappointed.

@bscholl Hi Blake, thank you for sharing that feedback. This is definitely not the experience we want our members to have and we would like to look into this right away. Our team just sent you a DM so we can assist further and ensure that your feedback is shared with the proper teams.

@sdamico any chance you’ll make a future version where the cooking surfaces aren’t raised? also a 36” version?

If you or one of your friends want an @ImpulseLabs_ stove ... it's a good time to order. We're in the last day of a sale (and new orders ship pretty soon -- Q1) Also have a bit of an engineering update...

@garrytan I've been hoping to see such a company. ASIC and FPGA design is an incredibly archaic process.

Custom ASICs and FPGAs can optimize calculations such as data compression, inference or encryption tasks, theoretically 5x faster with 10x less energy, which is a breakthrough. We'd love to fund LLM-based systems to build these, and with OpenAI O1 it's an ideal time to do it

Tried the Impulse Cooktop and it’s insanely slick going from 0 to 10kW so fast, boiling water in seconds. The battery powered engineering makes it precise & speedy. Its UI is lovely. The knobs are magnetic and pop off for easy cleaning. It’s deliciously delightful hardware. 🤤

Once you understand Kardashev Scale, it becomes utterly obvious that essentially all energy generation will be solar. Also, just do the math on solar on Earth and you soon figure out that a relatively small corner of Texas or New Mexico can easily serve all US electricity.
