If you want better results, focus on systems rather than goals. It's important to achieve a goal but it's even more important to understand how you achieved it and be able to replicate it. Being 1% better everyday will have a huge impact in the long run. Systems over goals.

I’ve secretly 🤫 been using a new product every week that is now live for everyone. Today we are launching Reforge Artifacts and it’s completely free 🆓. Take a look 👇 Artifacts let you access the real work from those who have done it before, so you’ll never have to start from scratch. Some examples: 👆 Product Review Systems from Casey Winters, Tom Willerer, and others 🧠 Product Strategy and Roadmaps from Adam Fishman and Sachin Rekhi 🪜 Career Leveling Guides from Julie Zhou, Barron Ernst, and Kevan Lee 🧪 Growth + Product Experiments from Lauryn Isford, Matt Woods, and Ben Williams 📈 Quantitative analyses from John Egan, Dan Wolchonok, and Yousuf Bhaijee 🧐 User research projects from Amber Rucker, Mike Fiorillo, Shelly Eisen-Livneh And sooooo many more. You can sign up here → reforge.com Preview some artifacts here → artifacts.reforge.com/artifacts These are NOT blank templates. Artifacts are the real work that contain the substance, nuance, insights, and realness. Here are a few things you can do with Artifacts: 🔎 Find artifacts relevant to what you are working on 💡 Access notes from the creator about the story, lessons, and insights ⭐️ Save artifacts and share them with colleagues 🔁 Remix artifacts to create your own version Artifacts is such a simple but powerful idea I can’t believe we didn’t think of it before. I’ve wasted so much time recreating something thousands of others have already done. Artifacts can help accelerate a lot of work (like open-source code) by enabling building on each other. Would love to know what you think.

@10xTeamDev @dbt_labs @getdbt Another area that will for sure be following next is everything around workflow automation (Zapier, Make, etc). It's so critical for a company on a daily basis, and it’s still a nightmare to manage properly, especially when your team is growing and real-time is involved.

@10xTeamDev @dbt_labs @getdbt It can feel a bit overwhelming and time-consuming at first but putting in place these processes in your critical ops flows is a key element to put your company in a position of success and properly scale your operations.

Software development has taken best practices from other engineering sectors to grow as an industry and provide ever more sophisticated applications 🙌🏻 We are now seeing other areas in tech such as data applying software practices. Look at @AirbyteHQ and @dagster 🚀 Wdyt?

Either create wealth or a passive income, or become a monk, or do what you love more than money. What remains is taming the mind and the body, seeking truth, creating love and art. The world has nothing to offer you. And you are free.

Don't waste time studying billionaires like Musk or Bezos. It fills you with survivorship bias. It's inspiring, but very misleading. Instead, it's much more useful to study people who are 2-3 years ahead of you in pursuing the same goals you have. A few examples below:

I've noticed many accomplished people: • Take risks • Work hard • Are optimists • Sell their ideas • Focus intensely • Change their mind • Build their network • Think independently • Are internally motivated • Have too much self-belief • Are impossible to compete with

To be a great leader, it's your responsibility to give people the tools to succeed. You need to give enough mentorship, guidance, freedom, and empowerment to bring together a team of self-driven experts who will enable you to achieve amazing things.

No/low code approaches offer many opportunities to bootstrap businesses. However, there are still transversal key skills required to leverage those tools, including: 1. Fundamentals of design & HTML/CSS 2. Basics of Javascript & SQL 3. Automating workflows by connecting APIs
