@UK_murph @Ricburton I tend to agree with this. It’s easy to look back with rose-tinted glasses about our childhood and all the possibilities that lay ahead of us. Some of it is also not UK-specific. A non-internet/social media era was just calmer and we were better connected with those around us.

Fair to say that this is probably objectively a more difficult time. But with that said, I think a lot of the 90's nostalgia we're seeing at the moment, and the 'it was the best decade ever' vibes are more a reflection o the age of those saying it than the decade itself. People 55+ feel the same way about the 80's. We all reach a point where we become super nostalgic and its usually about a decade when we were kids/teens.

Stopped listening 2 shows after @erfon left. It’s like any other dull show now. The CultCast was basically @erfon (and friends), he brought the colour and fun. It peaked with Alex/Buster/Leander - but was still ok until now. Looking forward to what’s next. I’m sure the majority of listeners will follow you.
