I thank His Excellency Antonio Guterres, @antonioguterres the United Nations Secretary General for appointing me as the next Executive Director of United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the Director General of UN office in Vienna @UN_Vienna. I appreciate the Secretary General’s confidence in my ability to steer these two important offices at the Under Secretary General level, at this critical point. Coming on the eve of the International Women’s Day, this appointment is demonstrative of the UNSG’s belief in women leadership. I sincerely thank H.E. President William Ruto @WilliamsRuto for the confidence he bestowed upon me in serving him as his, and the first, National Security Advisor of the Republic of Kenya, as Secretary to the National Security Council, and for enabling me to take this global assignment, demonstrating yet again his belief in Kenya making its contribution to the community of nations. I look forward to serving at this new mandate diligently and flying Kenya’s flag high, to the best of my ability. Thank You Kenya for preparing me to serve humanity!

I have been shocked beyond words by some of the speeches here in Bungoma County. If those who spoke are the people he listens to, Ruto is in more trouble than he knows. Freedom of speech cannot be limited beyond the limitations in Article 33. Even that Computer Misuse law those ignorant leaders have cited is Unconstitutional. Social media is not the problem. A FORM ONE STUDENT at LUGULU GIRLS died at a Lugulu Hospital because her family could not afford to transfer her to the hospital from school on time. Her parents are peasant farmers from Webuye who depend on well-wishers, bursaries, and church scholarships for their daughter's education. Her classmate fundraised KSH 1,200 to facilitate the transfer, but it was too late. By the time she arrived at the hospital, she had deteriorated. If only EDU-AFYA was active, the student would have been transferred to Webuye Sub-County Hospital for emergency treatment. What happens nowadays is that if your child becomes ill while in school, the class teacher will call you to pick the child for further medical attention at your cost. The court declared today that the mongrel called SHIF is unconstitutional. It must, therefore, be shelved. We must demand that NHIF, LINDA MAMA, and EDU-AFYA be reinstated immediately. EDU-AFYA was very vital in ensuring students' healthcare and safety were secured without parents getting worried about medical bills beyond school fees. This mongrel called SHIF should go with Nakhumicha, and it should never be brought anywhere near Kenyans again. #RutoMustGo

If you are a Kenyan, You must have seen a sustained narrative claiming that your president and his deputy are at loggerheads. They are NOT. You must have heard that the president is persecuting his deputy just the same way the former president was at loggerheads with his deputy. They were not. Here is the thing, The system keeps you in a sustained political debate. This artificial conundrum is designed to distract you and vex your spirits. This debate is meant to sow divisions among citizens. The system thrives in confusion, division and distraction. Listen, The social stratum has the wealthy, the middle class and the poor. The poor are busy looking for survival, they have little time for political correctness. The wealthy are busy looking after their wealth by funding politicians to write legislation that will continue making them wealthier. The crux of the matter is in the middle class where you and I sit. These are the pawns of the game. They are educated but are idiots. They are the ones who go to the queue for voting.  (The poor don't vote unless induced by money). The middle class are the noise decibels. They are the donkeys that work hard to feed the rich. They are heavily taxed. They are the fools thrown into a heated circus to hate each other, create divisions and distract themselves. They claim to be learned but cannot decipher the political con game. The middle class are the ones with big televisions, smartphones and computers. It is here the rich pay the media to sow seeds of confusion and distraction. It is only a foolish Kenyan who thinks the political crooks from both ends of the political divide don't meet privately to laugh at how they have divided the masses. It is only a foolish citizen who thinks politicians serve them. They don't and will never.
