कुछ दिन पहले मैंने राज्यसभा में हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस कंपनियों की मनमानी का मुद्दा उठाया था।
अब लखनऊ से एक और गंभीर मामला सामने आया है। मां के इलाज के लिए नियमित रूप से प्रीमियम भरने वाला बेटा Star Health and Allied Insurance के दफ्तर में बैठा है, लेकिन क्लेम देने से इंकार किया जा रहा है।
जब प्रीमियम समय पर वसूला जाता है, तो बीमारी के समय बहाने क्यों?
इस पर सरकार क्या कदम उठा रही है?
क्या हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस कंपनियों की जवाबदेही तय होगी या आम लोग ऐसे ही दफ्तरों के चक्कर लगाते रहेंगे?

"बोल रहे- हमसे पूछकर ली थी पॉलिसी?" क्या देश में Health insurance के नाम पर भी घोटाला चल रहा है? ये लखनऊ का वीडियो है. मां के इलाज के लिए एक आदमी, Star Health के दफ्तर में बैठा है. पहले प्रीमियर भरो, फिर बीमारी हो तो धरना दो. ये कौन सा सिस्टम है? और स्टाफ का attitude देखिए, क्या ये लोग सिर्फ पॉलिसी बेचने के लिए रखे गए हैं या फिर ग्राहकों की मदद करना भी इनके काम में शामिल है?

@Mithileshdhar Even i paid around 57k to @CareHealthIndia for my mother’s insurance. And when i need them most they denied claim request based on their so called own policy and now I just gave them my money for nothing.
Absolute loot by insurance companies.

साल दर साल। बिना लेट। बिना बहाने।
क्यों?
क्योंकि उसे भरोसा था कि जब मां अस्पताल के बिस्तर पर होगी, तब बीमा कंपनी उसके साथ खड़ी होगी।
लेकिन जब सच में मां बीमार हुई और वह Star Health and Allied Insurance के लखनऊ दफ्तर पहुंचा
तो उसे मिला इंतज़ार… चुप्पी… और आखिर में क्लेम से इनकार।
और ऊपर से एजेंट का जवाब...
“हमसे पूछकर पॉलिसी थोड़ी ली थी।”
बीमा कंपनियां “कैशलेस” का विज्ञापन करती हैं, तो फिर मरीज के परिजन को कैश जुटाने की नौबत क्यों आती है? क्या पॉलिसी होल्डर का अपना पैसा मांगना भीख मांगना है?
इंश्योरेंस रेगुलेटर Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) की रिपोर्ट्स बताती हैं कि हर साल लाखों हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस क्लेम रिजेक्ट होते हैं। कई कंपनियों का क्लेम सेटलमेंट रेशियो 80–90% दिखाया जाता है, लेकिन “रिजेक्ट” और “डिले” के बीच का फर्क आम ग्राहक नहीं समझ पाता।

@LOrealGroupe team, my wife ordered this product multiple times but every time it came as defective. Which is not upto the standards and it failed as promised product. Please look into your R&D before releasing this into market.
