Translating Falasteen (@translatingpal) x The Sameer Project provided 150 hot meals of rice to the Civil Defense, ambulance drivers, and individual tents in al-Samer neighborhood in Gaza City on July 27th. Our team cooked and distributed the rice packets that feed 2-3 people, but of course during a famine, families are trying to stretch this amount even more. Each meal cost $17.83 after 10% bank transfer fees. So for just this is distribution we spent $2,675.
