Hilarious it gets painted as this crazy hatewatch ONLY to see Liverpool lose, it’s remembered so fondly by so many people because it was the last game before lockdown and atletico were underdogs. There’s a historic significance behind it other than a measly ‘hatewatch’

@pavisback 5 goals in one game and prolly should’ve conceded more, our attack doesn’t match up to theirs so why would we try to do that. I’d back our players in every other area other than that so it made sense to play like that.

I was thinking this too, Arsenal play every game on the margins, and some things fell their way this season, hence the deep CL run and PL title
But prime City would blow teams out of the water, as would prime Liverpool under Klopp…unless Arteta changes how Arsenal play, I agree with you
