qm - have you seen any of the latest announcements concerning @QuaiNetwork recently? For instance, @krakenfx has officially listed us on their road map, which will allow US users to purchase Quai directly from a CEX for the first time. After Entangle shut down their bridging operations in March/April, we’ve been in deep talks with numerous major bridging partners that’ll allow the transfer of $QUAI and $QI into outside ecosystems. @LithiumDeFi just announced their open beta last week, which will bring the first-ever form of tokenized yield native to a PoW chain, full-stop. And just last week our first wQI pools just went live on @QuaiSwapio . In addition, we have a very major DeFi partner that has been very interested in bringing some trusted favorite protocols to our DeFi ecosystem - which we think/know will inject life into our DeFi sector. @StorkOracle has announced price feeds and we're going to expand on those even further soon. DeFi is not a major aspect of Quai at this time - but that will change soon. While there are many DeFi heavy/only chains that exist right now, and with LMTs and WQI in our holster, we know that we have interesting primitives that no one else can offer that will be native to Quai. Our community directly requested integrations with @collabland , which we just announced last week and should be fully integrated by mid-August at the latest. And @kippermoney has just announced an update that expands their services over to Solana, which expands awareness and adoption of Quai as that continues to grow. There are countless other updates here - such as @blippay support and partners, community events (we just held a workshop at Lagos University @UnilagNigeria, for instance), conferences that we’re attending (both local with @ATXDAO and non-local, @PorcFest ), new NFT communities springing to life (@QuaiClub, @tamahatchi), grants for developers to create and build new apps in our ecosystem, and the non-stop onslaught of marketing that our co-founders are relentlessly doing everyday (@WOLF_Crypto_X space earlier today, for instance). What is Merge Mining? Merge mining means one miner can secure multiple blockchains at the same time , without needing extra machines or extra energy. So, instead of mining just one chain, a miner’s work secures many chains in one go. ✅ How It Works on Quai On @QuaiNetwork, merge mining does more than just share mining power ,it creates something powerful called “coincident blocks.” In simple terms: When a miner finds a block that’s difficult enough, that block can count for several layers of Quai’s hierarchy at once: Zone → Region → Prime.
