@SESKILL @strippelhofff That's why there's the animation of arming the grenade in addition to the length of the fuse. 5 seconds from pulling out a grenade to it detonating, even if you were going to be throwing them as quick as possible, that's 5 seconds to retreat or rush.

These grenade changes do not address the core issue. Nerfing access will not stop nade spam. I can loot an entire bag of grenades from my first two rooms on cryo. We need a limited size equipment satchel and longer fuse times full stop.

We wanted to talk a little about a few of the topics we're seeing frequently from the community, and some updates we're planning. 💣Too Many Grenades A big topic in the community right now is that it's not a good experience to open up a fight only to be barraged with dozens of grenades. We're looking to push some changes to stock counts and stack sizes before the end of the season. We're keeping an eye on the overall usage of equipment and will make additional changes as necessary. 🪙Gold Ares Railgun The Ares railgun with a Prestige mod being able to one-shot Runners with purple or gold shields is unintentional, and we'll be issuing a fix in a future update. We want it to feel strong and fun to use without being so effective it becomes overly frustrating to play against. 🔫WSTR Damage Nerf The WSTR damage nerf was a temporary nerf and we just released a more nuanced set of changes earlier today in Update 1.0.6.2. While we aren't looking to change the two-shot breakpoints, the WSTR indeed took a bigger hit than we were intending with the temporary nerf and we intend for this change to put it in a better place. It should have similar effectiveness against AI as before the nerf as well have less damage fallout at range. Go try it out and let us know what you think. First of all, it’s functionally impossible to change our constitution right now neither party has enough people in Congress or the Senate or in the states to amend the constitution, you probably will never see another amendment until at least 2030 after the census is taken because there’s probably going to be a major shift in the balance of power. The Democrat party is extremely unpopular and they’ve been losing both population and popularity for decades.

@strippelhofff Also, an animation of arming/disarming the grenade will naturally make it more deliberate an action when you do want to throw it. 2 second arming animation + 3 second fuse would give a massive window for teams to push and get the drop on someone looking to nade a room

@strippelhofff They can fix the name spam by making 2 changes. 1) G does not throw the grenade anymore, it just readies it. 2) longer fuses and removal of impact trait for Heat and Fletchette nades.

fui a colocarme el DIU, no me dijo ni buenos días y me preguntó "cuántos hijos tenés?", cuando le dije que ninguno, me dijo que no iba a ser posible que entrara, que el DIU está recomendado solamente para mujeres que han parido o tenido legrados (no sufrido, tenido). Con la pero predisposición, me hizo pasar a la camilla y me dejó como 5 min con la pinza que te agrra el cuello del utero enganchada porque se habia olvidado otro instrumento. Me dijo que si no relajaba iba a ser imposible, cuando me estaba muriendo del dolor y cuando terminó todo y le pedí indicaciones para los siguientes días, me miró y me dijo "ahora te digo, veo que sos muy atropellada..."

@falloutplays Then maybe look at raising Outpost to lvl 20 or even 25 req and Cryo to 30. Gives newer players a bit more time to find their feet, learn about upgrades and potentially get a few unlocks before having to go against sweats.

@falloutplays I think they need to extend the "new player" definition by quite a bit and raise the level limit for Beginner Perim to like level 10 or even 15, give people a bit more time to get used to the pace of the game a bit more. Keep Sponsored Darsh as, yeah even footing for all

Personal Answer:
It would probably be in Marathon's best interest to get more active players. Playing nothing but sponsored kit lobbies certainly isn't a way I'd want to play 24/7 (would much rather kill kitted teams & take their gear), but it's lookin like a solid way to get more casuals to give it a go - as they know they'll be on even footing, and its low-stakes PvP.
I had a Mod play Marathon for the first time yesterday, and she seemed a little nervous about jumping in. But Sponsored Marsh was a great starting ground - kinda like the Bunny Hill for beginner skiers. A place for players to figure things out & build their confidence a bit more before raising the stakes by jumping into other maps/gametypes.

@ManoThigasx Incorrect, Steam offers you a 2 step process to purchase a game, whereas you need to go through at least 5-6 steps to pirate a game. That doesnt mean Steam doesnt have its faults, but a quick, easy, and simple one-stop store front is better than waiting for it to fall off a truck
