Here's everything that has been done to me simply for being an anti-war, anti-capitalism comedian: ➡️ 2016 My Facebook of 330,000 followers is shadow-banned nearly into oblivion ➡️ 2016 My main YouTube channel of a quarter million subscribers is shadow-banned, decreasing views by about 90% ➡️ 2017 NY Times attack piece against me on the cover the Arts section filled with lies and half-truths ➡️ 2017 NPR "Weekend Edition" segment attacking me airs, also filled with lies and half-truths ➡️ 2017 My Wikipedia page is edited to heavily imply I am some kind of propagandist, basically repeating everything from the NY Times ➡️ 2018 Twitter shadow-bans me ➡️ 2018 Instagram shadow-bans me ➡️ 2020 Facebook bans me from promoting to my followers ➡️ 2022 My TV show (and the entire channel) is canceled by US sanctions ➡️ 2022 (one week later) My YouTube channel is banned around the world (continues to this day) ➡️ 2022 Over 2,000 YouTube videos gone (essentially digital book burning) ➡️ 2022 (one week later) My longtime podcast "Moment of Clarity" is banned by Spotify ➡️ 2022 (one month later) DailyBeast attack piece comes out designed to try to get Patreon to cut off my account (and others) ➡️ 2022 My new YouTube channel for my show with MintPress is shadow-banned ➡️ 2022 Emails sent to my email list of fans now often have giant yellow warnings saying the email is probably phishing (thereby causing most people to avoid opening them) ➡️ All of this continues to this day ** This list does not include all of the endless doors that have been closed to me simply for being anti-war & anti-imperialism. For example, I will never be asked to perform as a comedian on any mainstream TV channel, nor will I ever be interviewed by mainstream media unless the goal is to attack me. ➡️ If I were instead promoting the war machine and capitalist exploitation by supporting the Dems or Republicans, then none of this would've happened to me. OR if I were to perform vapid, empty comedy like so many comics, then there would be no suppression and censorship against me. And yet, the US is the country of "free speech" that so many proudly defend? ➡️ But I regret none of it. If you aren’t being attacked or suppressed by the criminal imperialist oligarchs, then you’re on the wrong side.

There are only two things that scare me: The physics of time and gravity collapsing and leading to a cold, sparse universe devoid of atoms or light. What will happen when people who only want more power, get what they want.

But here’s the thing: it shouldn't be up to some brave individual to step up and illuminate systemic institutional violence. Those secrets should never be kept Secret-keepers should feel shame — crippling embarrassment. This is what we holler from the rooftops — until keeping secrets becomes unconscionable: #MakeSecrecyTaboo Step 1: We change the way we talk about secrecy. We start talking about it the way we talk about germs, viruses, bribery, insider trading — inherently filthy, something that needs to be excised from the body politic. Step 2: We embark on an all-out fight to get rid of secrecy at all levels of our democratic system. No more hush hush stuff at city hall! No more hidden police videos. No more closed-door trade deals. Or in-camera grand jury deliberations. Or secret presidential liaisons with foreign leaders. ‍We mandate jail-time for politicians and CEOs who do secret things. We shame them the way we shame people who lie, pay bribes, commit sexual harassment. ‍We ridicule and punish government departments that issue redacted documents. We jump on secrecy whenever and wherever we see it starting to build, from City Hall to the CIA. If we can get this done, get transparency enshrined, then total openness can become a critical part of the mythology of the 21st century. ‍The stakes are huge. As long as elites and powerful forces are able to concoct wars and geopolitics in secret, we the people will never see a single day of peace on Earth. Not a single minute. Hatred, greed, jealousy, fear may be the ingredients of war, but secrecy is the heat that it needs to rise ... So long as secrecy prevails, peace, unity and brotherhood will always remain dreams. But the truth shall set us free.

Is this the best thing I have ever seen? Can't rule that out.

@TomStantonYT Hi @TomStantonYT I have always wondered if it would be possible to make a rim motor rather than a hub motor with magnets inserted into a plastic rim and electro-magnets on the frame between the rear triangle. Seems like it could have good mechanical advantage and thus torque.
