Voyager 1 is about to make history 🚀✨
In November 2026, NASA’s legendary probe is expected to become the first spacecraft ever to be one light-day away from Earth — so far that a signal from us would take a full 24 hours to reach it.
Launched in 1977, Voyager 1 is still traveling through interstellar space nearly 50 years later. By around November 15, 2026, it should be about 16.1 billion miles (25.9 billion km) from Earth. 🌌
Humanity really built something in the 1970s… and it’s still going. 🥲

The Artemis II team did photography training and dry runs for moon pass-by with an inflatable moon.
Victor Glover said these practice runs completely changed how he understood importance of the mission.

Orion's main parachute has deployed. The spacecraft has a system of 11 chutes that will slow it down from around 300 mph to 20 mph for splashdown.

NEW: Footage shows the aftermath of the Ontario, California, fire that wiped out a 1.2M-square-foot tissue paper warehouse.
29-year-old Chamel Abdulkarim was allegedly upset about his pay, so he decided to burn the whole warehouse down.
The warehouse served the tissue paper needs of about 50 million people, according to authorities.

NEW: Disgruntled employee starts massive fire at a 1.2 million square foot warehouse in Ontario, California. 29-year-old Chamel Abdulkarim was arrested on arson charges for setting a Kimberly-Clark warehouse on fire. Abdulkarim apparently filmed himself on Instagram setting toilet paper packages in the warehouse on fire. "You may not pay us enough to f*cking live, but these b*tches dirt cheap... There goes your inventory," Abdulkarim apparently said. "All you had to do is pay us enough to live. All you had to do was pay us enough to f*cking live." The warehouse is the size of 11 city blocks. In total, 175 firefighters and 20 engines were on the scene trying to put the fire out. No one was injured.
