@doctor_rahmeh Solidarity ✊🏽 Actually ridiculous that you're not able to speak up against the genocide of your own people! Is there anything we can do to help you?

The UK 'israel' lobby has pressured my government and medical board into referring me to a tribunal hearing to try and suspend me for opposing genocide. This is Britain. We are occupied. Hi. My name is Rahmeh. I am a part-Palestinian British NHS doctor. I am facing the suspension of my medical licence. This is not the result of any professional failure, but the outcome of a coordinated lobbying campaign against me because of my public stance against the genocide in Gaza being carried out with my tax pounds. I march—having attended over 300 protests in the last 23 months—advocate and educate online, and have taken direct action. For this, the 'israel' lobby has: -defamed me in the papers -complained to my medical board (@gmcuk)—resulting in a nine-month investigation that I won - held my career back by two years - had my Instagram suspended - threatened my family and friends, and complained to the GMC again. Dissatisfied that I continue to advocate, they pressured the British government and the GMC to refer me directly to an Interim Orders Tribunal (IOT) (@the_mpts) to try to suspend me and revoke my medical license, bypassing the normal investigative process by claiming it is 'in the public interest'. Their goal is to force me into silence by taking my career and income. I have lost more than 50 friends in Gaza. My friends have had 20 to 100 members of their families murdered by the IOF. Our careers are not worth more than Palestinian lives. 'israel' bombed a hospital twice, live on air, murdering journalists and medics—this very week. My friend, a medical student, was thrown across the hospital by the blast but thankfully survived. The IOF have slaughtered over 1,900 Palestinian medics. The UK 'israel' lobby is trying to suspend me because I am against its genocidal entity and the jewish supremacy (zionism) that empowers this lobby to do this to me and my fellow Brits. My British Health Secretary, @wesstreeting—who has taken £70,000 from the lobby—regularly meets with them but refuses to meet British healthcare workers. He even blocked me on Instagram after I tagged him in a post asking for a meeting to address these attacks. If they suspend me, it will be to shield 'israel' at the expense of the British public. I'm not the first and I won't be the last doctor they have done this to. We must free Britain from the corrupt influence of the 'israel' lobby, which undermines our freedom, our democracy, our sovereignty, and our humanity. We will not stop. We will fight. We will win. @akatepockett So she's mad that agents have diverse characters on their *wishlists* which has nothing to do with the quality of her writing, her manuscript or frankly her in particular

The big temptation of our age is the temptation to let your brain become mush. Read daily. Write your own words. Shun the machines that promise to do your thinking for you. Ten years from now when millions are suffering cognitive decline, you’ll be glad you kept your mind sharp.

UK government never wanted you to see this They spent 20 months concealing flight path of RAF spy missions over Gaza for Israel But they recently contracted it out to a US company - and new pilot soon forgot to turn off his transponder This is evidence for a war crimes trial

“When I entered Gaza the Israeli military had a rule: I was only allowed to bring in three kilos of food. As I was weighing out protein bars, trying to get under the limit, I said to my husband: ‘How sinister is this?’ I’m a humanitarian aid worker. Why would there even be a limit on food? I’ve worked in many places with extreme hunger, but what’s so jarring in this context is how cruel it is, how deliberate. I was in Gaza for two months; there’s no way to describe the horror of what’s happening. And I say this as a pediatric ICU doctor who sees children die as part of my work. Among our own staff we have doctors and nurses who are trying to treat patients while hungry, exhausted. They’re living in tents. Some of them have lost fifteen, twenty members of their families. In the hospital there are kids maimed by airstrikes: missing arms, missing legs, third degree burns. Often there’s not enough pain medication. But the children are not screaming about the pain, they’re screaming: ‘I’m hungry! I’m hungry!” I hate to only focus on the kids, because nobody should be starving. But the kids, it just haunts you in a different way. When my two months were finished, I didn’t want to leave. It’s a feeling I haven’t experienced in nearly twenty years of humanitarian assignments. But I felt ashamed. Ashamed to leave my Palestinian colleagues, who were some of the most beautiful and compassionate people that I’ve ever met. I was ashamed as an American, as a human being, that we’ve been unable to stop something that is so clearly a genocide. I remember when our bus pulled out of the buffer zone. Out the window on one side I could see Rafah, which was nothing but rubble. On the other side was lush, green Israel. When we exited the gate, the first thing I saw was a group of Israeli soldiers, sitting at a table, eating lunch. I’ve never felt so nauseous seeing a table full of food.” ------------------------------------------------------- Aqsa Durrani is a pediatric doctor and board member of Doctors Without Borders USA, with nearly twenty years of experience in humanitarian projects. During our interview Aqsa repeatedly expressed a desire to center the voices of her Palestinian colleagues. To this end I’ve spent the past week collecting stories from the Palestinian staff of Doctors Without Borders in Gaza. I will be sharing these stories over the next several days. I’m so grateful for the time that these people gave me; they were sleepless, hungry, traumatized, and often working 24-hour shifts. Because of the unreliable internet connection their images are sometimes grainy. Their words, however, will be crystal clear.

It took mass starvation in Gaza for some to finally speak out. The charred bodies, decapitated babies, amputations, mass graves, limbless bodies, relentless carpet bombing, torture, extermination and near-total destruction were all tolerable - until now. Shame.

@Keir_Starmer More empty words. Stop selling arms to Israel. Stop RAF intelligence flights from Cyprus. Sanctions on Israel. Punishment for British Citizens who joined the IDF and participated in war crimes. Real action to make up for a fraction of the harm *you* have justified for 2 years.

The appalling scenes in Gaza are unrelenting. The UK will pull every lever we have to get food and lifesaving support to Palestinians, and we will evacuate children who need urgent medical assistance. This humanitarian catastrophe must end.
