For goods not under Sections 232 or 301: countries without special trade deals (or where deals don't override) face ~2-5% average MFN + 10% Section 122, totaling ~12-15% max for most items. Intresting!!

FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE PRESIDENTS OF BOTH THE EUROPEAN COUNCIL AND THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION HAVE ATTENDED INDIA’S REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS AS CHIEF GUESTS. THE VISIT HAS MARKED A MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH IN TRADE, DEFENCE AND STRATEGIC COOPERATION AT A TIME OF SIGNIFICANT GLOBAL GEOPOLITICAL SHIFTS.

This is one of the most revolting accounts on X. Imagine hating the land of your birth so much. Imagine the self loathing that must be filling him. I try not to respond because it adds to his engagement - but is there any way I can avoid ever seeing his posts ever again?

This is Tejas, India's invincible response to Rafael, Sukoi, F35 and J10. None could do the following trick at the Dubai air show. I didn't believe when some traitors said yesterday that it was leaking oil.

If you need workers and you raise wages, it’s economics. If you need workers and you hire immigrants, you probably had no other options. If you need workers and still yell “immigrants took our jobs,” you must be the governor of Florida. If you need workers and charge a $100,000 fee to hire them, it’s Trump’s fundraiser. If you need workers and replace Americans with consultants, it’s corporate restructuring. If you need workers and then accuse immigrants of causing unemployment while 300,000 tech jobs stay unfilled, it’s the H-1B debate. And if you need workers, set up a lottery to import talent, blame talent, fine the companies who hired that talent, then quietly beg for more talent— you’re the United States arguing about H-1B.

It seems a #Scam - @sachin_rt shud be alerted since his name is being used - Also @SEBI_India and @BSEIndia should check how this stock has been manipulated to this extent - also the major shareholders to be investigated on why/how they bought this - because there is no promoter in the company

What an incredible moment of quiet understanding between two worlds sharing the same stretch of earth. But don't let the mesmerizing calm fool you into a sense of safety, because in that beautiful stillness lies a universe of raw power. A tiger moves like lightning, and the gap between admiration and tragedy can be closed before you even draw a breath. This is the pact of the wild: admire its beauty, but never forget the razor-thin line you walk. Distance isn't just a suggestion; it's everything when coexisting. @Sandeepnirvan @dmuthuk Interestingly, Hundai parent growth in revenue was 7.7% in CY 24 and Hyundai India revenue dropped in FY 25 by 1%..so here there is no growth either to justify valuation

Most of the india businesses are too overvalued without any reason. I know the Indian market is getting valued as per demographic benefits but still we are just counting on future earnings which are not yet delivered. Look at Hyundai India and main Korean Major. LG will also get the same stretched Over valuations.

Just an illustration. See how the Indian subsidiaries are valued compared to their parents. I looked at last 10 year sales growth for these companies in Screener. They are not super duper. Very mediocre. Indian valuations are difficult to understand. Linde India : 5% United Breweries: 7% Siemens India: 8% Nestle India: 7% P&G Hygiene: 5% ABB India: 5% United Spirits: 3% Hindustan Unilever: 7% Cummins India: 8% GSK Pharma: 1% Abbott India: 11% Colgate: 4% Maruti Suzuki: 12%

He bought his first house in Mumbai at age 27 for ₹55 Lakhs. He spent 22 years at a single company, CNBC. He turned his bonus into a 10x return during the COVID crash. He learned his biggest market lesson directly from Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. He’s none other than, @_anujsinghal. I was completely inspired by his journey, but it was his stories about the late Mr. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala that gave me goosebumps. Anuj admitted that during the post-COVID rally, he was pessimistic. He thought the market was just running on liquidity. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala called him out on it directly. He told him, "If you want to live in this country and make money in this country, you have to be bullish on India." That one line changed Anuj's entire outlook forever. He shared how Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's genius wasn't in being right all the time. His real genius was in his courage. He had the conviction to take massive 5-10% stakes in companies he believed in. His two biggest winners, Titan and Lupin, were so huge that they single-handedly covered all his other losses and built his legendary fortune. It’s a powerful lesson in conviction. It's not about winning every trade. It's about making your wins so big that your losses don't matter. And above all, it's about having unwavering faith in the India story. Our full, candid conversation with Anuj is now live on my YouTube Channel. #investing #rakeshjhunjhunwala #stockmarket #motivation #podcast #anujsinghal #kushallodha
