You were told that with the new developments around AI, you can build your own apps now. This is true to some extent. The whole truth though is that you still have to know the principles around building apps. 1. Is it necessary? 2. Are there existing solutions? 3. What underlying technology is optimal to build on? 4. What infrastructure do I need to deploy my app? 5. What's the recurring cost of deploying and maintaining the app? 6. Is my approach and the code generated secure enough? 7. Can I steer the AI when it is using the wrong technique or approach or when it misunderstands a request? 8. Am I proficient enough in a specific language to relay my requirements? 9. Do I have the time and energy to debug errors and iterate over and over until the app is functional? 10. Do I even know what point my app needs to get to for me to say, "it's okay, it's good enough for version x or y"? The list goes on. AI can only help with some of these questions. It doesn't address most of them. Even with AI, you are the one in the driver's seat. You remain the lead architect. What AI, however, enables for every single person who may be literate, illiterate, technical or non-technical is that it significantly brings down the cost of getting your dream software or app built and running. If you have a dream app or have desired a software tool that you previously felt was unattainable, this is the time to explore it. Let's talk

People are waking up to the fact that AI is a complementary tool for your skill set, and not a complete replacement for a skill
If you are already a good coder or writer, AI tools can enhance that skill and make you more productive
But if you bad at it, AI is not going to magically solve your deficiency
This is the primary reason why I think the fears around AI replacement of labor are overblown

This Chinese humanoid robot just shattered the world record for a half marathon, finishing in 50 min 26 sec. This video shows its crash just meters before the finish line where it had to be picked up by a team of humans. The robot is from Honor, the smartphone maker and Huawei spin-off. This robot was teleoperated while others were autonomous. It seems like all the robots had battery swaps along the way.

Mark something.
Jot the page number at the back.
After the book is over write it into Obsidian or any note taking app.
And keep revisiting it.
And with Claude each of them is a skill, when needed.
Nothing else works for me.

People who read a lot of books how do you actually retain what you read?
I try reading but after 2–3 books, I forget most of it… even powerful lines fade. Like, how do you keep those insights with you and actually apply them later?

Holy shit. Now everyone will be able to use their @OpenClaws and all the other agentic platforms to build apps on top of X. Here's the secret: build lists. Lists are how you build apps. The pattern: Build a list of your favorite football team. Or whatever you are into. Then ask your AI agents "build an app showing me all the important news about my favorite football team." In minutes you'll have an app. And that's just the beginning. Your agent can build a script about your favorite football team that you can take to places like Google's Notebook LM. Now you have a video, a podcast, a slide deck, a game, a mind map. All about your favorite football team based on real time news. You can do the same with something like @HeyGen, create an avatar of your favorite football player. Now you will have your favorite football player telling you everything that's happening on the football team. And I could go for hours about how many things you can build and not even cover a fraction of them. This is huge. Thank you @elonmusk for making it possible to make millions of agentic apps affordably on top of X. Start building!

Pattern recognition has been so helpful navigating AI slop these days.
First there was the "AI accent", "if X, then Y" and the emdash use. Then Claude Skills helped neutralize this.
Now we're back again to AI slop. I can tell if your website/doc/pdf/png was made by Claude.

Interesting that they are now showing these benchmarks side-by-side with Mythos, to reinforce that you do not have access to the most intelligent model.
I always wondered when we'd get here. But we have now for the first time entered the undemocratic era of AI. You are not important enough to have access to the greatest intelligence, and Anthropic wants you to know that.
